Best in class. A light, fast racing tyre that withstands training kilometres. They feel like they wear quickly after mounting, but then retain their tread and shape for a surprisingly long time. Quite puncture resistant. Can be tight to mount, but not a big issue if you have a seating tool (which you should anyway). Great value for money.

2 x tan wall tires - both failed and split at the join between the tan wall and the lower part of the tire (in exactly the same way). This happened very early on, within weeks. Vittoria must know this is an issue. Not fit for purpose.1 x black tire. The tire split between the grooves on the contact point with the road. Very little use again - image attached. You can see the tread is like new.I used the tubular Vittoria Corsa when I was riding at a reasonably high level ( for GB) and do not recall any issues. However, I can 100% confirm that the tires I have used recently, are not fit for purpose.DO NOT MAKE TIRES THAT ARE SUB-STANDARD PLEASE.

I purchased my 5th pair of vittoria rubino pros, since they have been a very good reliable dependable tire. However this last set I purchased was the worst tire I have had. In 31 days I had 5 flats. I had to restock my tube inventory. I hadn't had a flat in months with my old set of rubinos. With the new set I had a flat the second ride with them installed. Then I had a simultaneous front and back flat at the same time. Then I had a rear flat 2 times on 1 ride. I checked the tires for anything that might be stuck like glass or something. Nothing. So not sure if just this set was bad. I installed an old pair of gp 5000s I had sitting here. No flats so far. So it's not the rim tape or the wheel.

Having ridden pretty much exclusively on Vittoria tyres for the last 6 years, I've not been at all disappointed with the latest version the G2. As a relatively high mileage rider targeting 12,000KM each year, I particularly enjoy the comfort these help achieve. Also I completely trust the level of grip in both wet and dry conditions. I did have a brief experiment with the Continental GP 4000 series, but for me they didn't give anything like the same level of comfort. Although the majority of roads I ride here in the South of France are very good, I inevitably do venture onto very poor surfaces at times. As with the Vittoria Open Corsa of old, then the G+, I have very few issues with tyre damage or punctures. I bought this tyre in 30c and did a tubeless set up with it. It blew off the wheel rims at only 70PSI, thankfully while stationery after I had done 70km. I refitted it back home and same thing happened, this time at 65PSI. I raised the issue with Sigma and they blamed everything except the tyre such as the tape etc... I've been riding tubeless for 5 years and never experienced anything like this before. Have put different pair of tubeless tyres on since and absolutely no problems at all, so I can only presume this tyre from Vittoria was supplied damaged.
Good tires. Weight is about 10 gm more then what they say. so for a 25MM rather than 215 it's more like 230. Still not bad. I like these because they perform well, I use with Latex tubes for a very responsive ride. I don't get many flats with them probably because I am careful and scrape them off with a medical toung depressor to remove bits of embedded glass. Lastly I run 4 different sets of wheels 3 of them have the same tire set on them. The 4th I swap back and fourth between a shimano c24 and c40. This tire mounts easy making the swap much easier.
This is my second pair of GP5000s. First pair of GP5000 is used for more than 20.000 Kms. Very satisfied and recommend this super product. Thanks Continental and thanks BikeInn for low price and superfast shipping.
I’m an ex racing cyclist and ride about 150 miles a week. I have used these tyres for a few years now. They grip well and have good puncture resistance. They don’t lose traction easily on steep wet climbs like some overly hard compounds do especially in very cold weather. Good cornering at high speeds. The tan walls look like the old tubs used to. The bead isn’t so tight that you can’t get them back on at the roadside. Bit pricey but buy them in threes and you’ll wear out two rear for one front while having a spare. Good tyres
Fast, grippy, supple, robust and look the goods. This about sums these tyres up. I've even done close to 1000 km on gravel on the 30c and even then they hold up extremely well. The only issue I have with them is they're supposed to be available in 32c but I've NEVER seen them available anywhere, like they don't exist or something.
Put these tires onto ENVE SES 3.4 AR rims. These tires were so loose I was able to get both beads into the center channel with NO tools. While that sounds like a good thing, I repeatedly had issues getting the tire to take any air to try to seat the beads. I tried pumping with no valve core, I tried soapy water, I tried the Airshot cylinder. Nothing would get them to take air and seat. I finally took them to a bike shop - we got one seated, but the other would STILL not take air. The employee told me to reach out to backcountry to return the tire.I had one trick left: put in a tube, seat the tire, take out the tube and try again. This was successful, but I will note that I had to pressure up to 130psi to get both beads to seat and "click". This is technically at ... MorePut these tires onto ENVE SES 3.4 AR rims. This was successful, but I will note that I had to pressure up to 130psi to get both beads to seat and "click". This is technically at the max rating of the tire tubed, and near/above the max rating of the rim. With both tires seated, I thought I was victorious, added the sealant and pressured up to about 60psi per ENVE weight recommendations. The tires proceeded to lose air and sealant at about 10psi/hr (with me repumping them, rotating them) for about 24 hours. After the 24 hrs, the tires seemed to hold and I did a test ride. Again things seemed to hold, but I'm pretty weary after the significant pressure loss initially.I've put about 120 miles in 2 rides on them now and they seem OK. For such nice tires and brand, I feel like things could have been smoother in the setup. Now that they're holding air, things seem to be OK, but I'm not overly "wowed" by them. They're fine. I have some tubeless Panaracers on my gravel bike and have been very happy there so far.
