Bought a pair because I run gravel tyres on my aluminium endurance road bike in summer to do light gravel. Well these tyres actually measure to 39mm when inflated (measure with caliper). It is printed on the tyre sidewall that it is 700x35c and the ETRTO size as 37-622. The ETRTO size of 37-622 is a standard that means it measures 37mm wide, so no idea why they are advertised as 700x35, especially when they inflate wider than even the ETRTO size. I don't have wide rims either, I have 18mm internal width. So these rub on my frame and can't be used, shame as they were very good value.

I've found these tires to be about as perfect a gravel tire as anything else out there. Bought them in a 38c, which were 40mm wide mounted on a rim with a 25mm internal width. The hexagonal file tread through the center of the tire does a nice job of braking on gravel surfaces, while keeping the rolling resistance low, even on pavement. After four months, the center tread started to wear off on the REAR tire. Pertaining to both front and rear, the knobs on the edge do keep an edge while leaning into corners. And they've held up remarkably well after six months of use.Lastly, I'll mention puncture protection. I've done most of my riding these past six months in northwest Arkansas, where the gravel can be sharp and pointy. And I've raced these tires at both Unbound 100 and Lil' Sugar gravel races. I've not flatted once.

Given tire profile was hoping this would roll faster on pavement as well as some of my local trails. The results were a bit mixed. It is slightly above mid grade on pavement for a "fast" gravel tire ...but definitely slower than some of the others like the All-around.On trails the "dry" is definitely an emphasis. It is quickly overwhelmed by big rocks or loose gravel. The only place it really felt at home were hard packed dirt and fire roads.Overall its average with average puncture protection. Would not purchase again.

Incredibly Good! 😊

Amazing tyres! - just used them on a seven day tour of backroads in the Scottish Borders. Great on all grades of gravel, road asphalt and grassy singletrack - even great in the wet, and mud.Flexible walls give great bump absorption. Got one small puncture from a thorn - burning was easily repaired.

Narrower than advertised on site

PSA to other potential customers. The sizing listed on Jenson isn't accurate. 700x37 is actually a 35c as sidewall stamped by Vittoria. 700x40c is actually a 38c per Vittoria spec. Unless of course Jenson shipped me the incorrect product by mistake. Quality of the tire is great and Jenson service is great as always. Just make sure the narrower spec fits your application.

Poor quality.

All on line reviews had positive comments about these tires. Ordered a pair in 700c X 33. After just 780 miles they have failed. Tires losing air. Using soapy water mix I discovered the sidewalls on both sides of both tires had numerous small leaks everywhere! Very disappointing for a Vittoria product. I'll be contacting Jensen to discuss replacement.

Solid rear tire option

These tires roll well, they're durable, and their shoulder knobs will reliably save you if you loose traction as you're turning/banking on loose gravel. It's a similar idea to the Specialized Pathfinder but executed far more efficiently. The Pathfinder is great for smooth, flat riding, but it's trash as soon as the riding gets technical - the knobs are squirmy and unpredictable, whereas the Terreno Dry will engage reliably and predictably as soon as the shoulder knobs make contact w/ the ground.I ride mellow single track and loose over hard gravel, and I do wish these tires had small center tread for better traction going straight. The center tread (or not-tread, to put it more accurately) cuts loose more easily than something like the Bontrager GR1 or the Maxxis ... MoreThese tires roll well, they're durable, and their shoulder knobs will reliably save you if you loose traction as you're turning/banking on loose gravel. Haven't had any issues with seating the tire and haven't had any issues with punctures.

I purchased these tires for my Specialized Crux. Most of my riding is on the Carriage Roads of Acadia National Park. The road surface is packed crushed stone and these tires are perfect for that surface, as well as for the short excursions on paved surfaces within the park and town. I mounted them with inner tubes and like many new tires I needed to use tire levers to finish the mount. In addition I needed to lubricate the interface between the tire and the rim (dish detergent in water) to facilitate proper seating upon inflation (80 psi). After mounting, the tires appear to be true to their indicated width (35mm). I've ridden about 200 miles and am pleased with the performance of the tires.I

Yet another Vittoria offroad and multiuse winner
30 April 2024

I purchased them for use in a very hybrid surface, northern Mexico loaded bikepack. They were very comfortable and suitable, on everything from super-slippy Monterrey asphalt to actual urban dumps to packed dirt roads. Typical plush smooth Vittoria roadfeel, typical oddly durable Vittoria graphene wear resistance. I washed out the tires and bodyslid on that crazy ultra-remelted and resolidified asphalt, but nothing woulda helped that situation, in my opinion.

Conditions have been dismal in the dry spell. Scorching summer sun has left the old rail trails, country roads, and gravel grinds parched, and coated with dust that is sent flying with every rotation of your tires. Your mud-ready hoops are feeling a bit out of place, to throw on Vittoria's Terreno Dry G2. 0 Tubeless Tires to elevate your grip in the fine silt and sand. The Terreno Dry features a dry-condition specific treat with "fish scale" center that rolls quickly, and shoulder knobs that grip into the dust to elevate your braking control and cornering grip. This particular version comes with Vittoria's TNT casing, which easily seals up for running lower air pressure and gaining bump compliance in tubeless form. The 3C rubber compound includes Vittoria's exclusive G2. 0 Isotech for smoother rolling, longer tread life, and outstanding traction across off-road surfaces. For a bit more protection across rugged ground, the sidewalls are reinforced from punctures and inconvenient flats.
