Vittoria Zaffiro Pro Fold G2.0 Tyre: Full Black 700X25C
Designed to make you win The training tyre benchmark includes a strong nylon casing, secure grip, and long tread life. Using a mixed tread design, optimized for all-around use, the Zaffiro works well in a range of training conditions. Add the durable folding nylon casing, and you get a performance oriented training tyre at a great price! Technologies Graphene 2.0 With the aim to always push the boundaries of what is possible, Vittoria succeeded in the development of a new generation of Graphene: Graphene 2.0. Unlike the first-generation graphene, the new 2.0 graphene is functionalized to enhance specific tyre performances. In other words, where the first generation of graphene compounds raised the bar evenly, Graphene 2.0 pin-points each performance metric, and increases it disproportionally to the rest. Vittoria is now able to apply Graphene in such a way that it can achieve a performance boost specifically for speed, wet grip, durability and puncture resistance. Vittoria Clinchers Clincher is the most common type of tyre and it requires the use of tubes. It comes with a woven fabric casing, with either metal or folding fabric beads, and it is vulcanized during the production process. This irreversible process causes the rubber molecules to link together with a curing agent, notably carbon, to enhance the durability and strength of rubber itself.

First of all I ordered size 28mm and when I measured inflated tyre it was 25mm wide. Anyway, after I made my first drive yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the ride with this tyres. Comparing with my previous tyres of same width thes are soft at uneven terein and very stabe in drive.I am more than satisfied with the purchase !

Nicely constructed tire. Light weight and easy to install. Just watch the tire height. I normally use 25mm tires. While a 25mm Zaffiro tire does indeed measure 25mm across when fully inflated, the height of tire is about half that of other tires I own. I suspect this will improve handling but comfort also will be lower (just like car tires). I don't think Vittoria is misrepresenting anything. They make this tire with a lower profile compared to some other manufacturers. If I could get one in stock, I would certainly try 28mm instead 25mm for this tire.

If you want a lightweight, razor sharp tire, look elsewhere. But, if you want a tire that has great grip, good bumb absorption (the extra volume helps), and good flat protection, give these a look - especially at this price point. These 32mm tires replaced a 3-year old set of 28mm Mavic UST Pros I was running (aero be damned!!) so just the age alone will make a difference, but these roll pretty fast and feel "in" the road. Im 220lbs and run the 32s at 65R / 60F and they like it there.

Have covered nearly 2000km on these over 6 months of daily commuting through London. They handle fine in all conditions, so no complaints there, but I have started buying inner tubes and CO2 cannisters in bulk because they puncture so frequently. And for some reason they are much harder to fit to the rims than other road tyres I've used. Have also just noticed that sidewalls are now horribly perished and cracked both front and rear (although the tread itself is still in decent condition), so not sure how much longer they'll last.
Purchased these for mounting on a Cannondale full suspension mountain bike. I strictly ride on the road and like the full suspension so for me, it was important to find a decent road friendly tire. I was not sure I would like these since they are relatively inexpensive but after a few hundred miles, they have held up with limited wear and the ride quality is good. Control in wet conditions seems acceptable and hard braking can easily skid but these have a minimal tread pattern so for me, I don't have a problem with them for my style of riding. I would certainly buy again especially when they are on sale.
I use for off seasons, autumn and spring. To test these tires I ride 440 km in two days and I can say that they behaved decently, almost no signs of wear, only that they are a bit heavy compared to the ones I use during the season, in the summer. I decided to use a little cheaper tires in the spring and autumn, because the roads are starting to get very dirty full of gravel and bits of mud, broken bottles...etc. which prematurely destroyed my more competitive and expensive tires.
I am normally a Continental Gatorskins loyal customer for over 10 years, but due to supply shortages and raising prices I thought I would try these Victoria tires. So far I have ridden them about 150 miles, and very impressed by the smoothness and road resistance if these tires last for at least 1500 miles they could be my new go to tire. For now they get a four star review only time will tell if these tires can earn the fifth star.
For the price decided to give them a spin. Love them. Are they puncture and cut resistant? Will have to wait on that bc I have only put a little over 100 miles on them. But boy do they feel solid and they roll beautifully. Will surely buy a few more for my other bikes. ππ»
When I saw that this was the last of these tires available I jumped! Not just for the super-discounted clearance price, but for the fact it was a Vittoria Tire...Vittoria is a world renown name, established in 1953, with a rich history in Italian Road Racing! I've had numerous Vittoria tires on my road bikes over the years with great success, and I'm even running Vittoria 'Martello' MTB tires on my Banshee Rune Enduro Bike now...I mounted this tire recently as a rear tire replacement on my road bike, and so far it exceeds my expectations!
As a reasonably priced option, I would say these are merely OK. Bought for a smoother ride on rough pavement, they make a huge difference compared to 23mm tires. Hereβs the bit: the tire fit on several rims I have used is sloppy. I barely need a tire iron to get the bead over the edge. Worse, because of the loose fit, I have had out of round problems. This requires careful pulling on the βhighβ spot while deflated. Inflate then check by spinning it. Compared to a Continental tire, which has a tight fit and near perfect roundness, these are manufactured with slightly different bead diameters
