Just want to say that the shampoo and conditioner both contain SULFATES! Surprise! I ordered the whole setup online (pills, hair elixir, shampoo, conditioner) and I have to say that I'm really not happy with the shampoo and conditioner. My scalp actually got really dry, flaky, itchy and inflamed and I started getting dandruff shortly after my first week of use. At first I thought it was maybe just the product working, but it didn't go away until I stopped usage. The company was cool though and I called to explain what happened, they refunded me for the cost of those products and took them off my subscription. I had really high hopes for the Viviscal Shampoo and Conditioner. I bought on Amazon. The first few days of washing my hair (which is every other day or every 2 days) was fine. I saw more volume and my hair stayed straight longer. By the second week I noticed my hair was greasey and I started breaking out all over my scalp and hairline. Dry scalp too! I don't like when shampoo and conditioner Reaves that film 😕 on my hair. I'm blonde with really fine hair. Anyhow by the 3rd week I noticed more hair fall. So now I only use this once a week and I won't be buying it again. I prefer Zenegan any day of the week. The scent is nice though. Kind of strong but goes away. Just not a good match for me!

Perfect for women over 50

I have been using Viviscal vitamins for years now, but have never used their shampoo and conditioner. A few weeks ago I decided to start, and let me tell you what a difference it has made. Although the vitamins do not promote new hair growth, it does help to retain what you already have. The added use of the shampoo and conditioner adds lots of volume. In addition it helps to keep your scalp cleaner and therefore no need to wash your hair that often. The thickening serum keeps the frizz down. I recommend this to all my friends and family. I know sometimes you read reviews and think...this is all made up, but believe me, it really works.

I’ve been using for a couple of months. The pills, shampoo and conditioner. Not long enough to know if there’s new growth. But my hair does feel fuller. And it no longer is falling out. I used to be covered in hair when I was fixing it but now only have 3 to 5 hairs daily. I feel like it’s really helping.

I have been using the shampoo and conditioner for years and it has helped me with hair loss and my hair is thicker. I have also taken the Viviscal pills several times, taking a break for two or three months when the box runs out. Viviscal are very good products for the hair. I recommend them.

Stop Dithering and Buy It

I've only used it twice, so I can't attest to "growth," necessarily. But I can tell you that after both uses (I'm a nighttime shower-er), I woke up with Victoria's-Secret-looking hair... before brushing!! My hair has insane volume already, and it's super shiny. Not greasy-shiny, mind you. More like a silky-shiny.The biggest drawback, though, is the smell. It has a sort of... "cheap dude's cologne" smell. Ew!Still worth it.

The shampoo works well to create a thicker feeling for your hair, I don't see that it encourages new growth, but it does help you make the most of what you have. The only negatives are the packaging - the tube format with a brittle plastic cap makes it vulnerable to cracking if you happen to drop the tube. I would prefer a traditional bottle format with a press top lid that you can handle with one hand. The first time I ordered the shampoo and conditioner it cost me in excess of $80 which seemed too high; the second time I ordered it I paid about $35 which seemed more reasonable. At the more reasonable pricing I will order this again.... handling it with care to make sure it never falls!

thankful something finally works

a combination of genetics, stress, and chronic illness recently wreaked havoc on my hair and it started falling out in clusters and thinning drastically. at this point i was desperate, i had tried bondi boost and minoxidil droplets with minimal to zero results but i'm on my second bottle of this shampoo and my hair is noticeably thicker, fuller, healthier, and now the thinning has been curbed significantly. i love the smell and how clean my hair feels without being overstripped, especially because i have naturally curly hair. i cannot recommend this enough.
