Before trying this product I was unsure if I would like it or not, the idea of using gel on my hair worried me that the result would make it feel sticky and make my hair look greasy! This mousse is amazing. I have used it for years. Before using this, I used to have my hair permed to give it some body/volume {I said I had used it for a long tie!}. when i discovered this mousse, i stopped spending a fortune at the hairdressers. As long as you have a good cut, you can confidently style your hair using this product. I would highly recommend it to anyone with fine hair.

The smell is really nice, it's not at all chemical like and it's very fruity, reminds me of a fruit punch kind of smell very watermelon like! The formula isn't very thick, nor too liquid so it doesn't drop everywhere or apply unevenly. It's very easy to spread throughout the hair and you can feel where it's been applied which makes it easy to know where you've been so you won't end up with patchy results. I've been using this gel spray instead of another trying to cut down my spending.There is a knack to it though to avoid the crispy hair issue..I section my hair out and spray the roots, and then brush it through with a wide toothed comb.I then roughly blast it to about 80% dry.Next I add a light oil to deal with my dry ends and brush through whilst I blow-dry, using a boar bristle brush to really separate the hair at the rootOnce completely dry, and whilst my hair is still warm I then pull it around with my fingers til it's all in the right place.Mist with a very fine high quality hairspray and voila.. bouncy princess hair!I love this product, and I've save over £20 on my usual "high end" volumiser. It doesn't budge.
Got as a free gift. It was lightweight when sprayed on, which i thought would be good. However, it didn’t hold my waves and just ending up weighing down my hair. It also felt sticky and didn’t really do anything! No volume, no definition to my waves, no hold. Ended up brushing it out & just putting on my usual leave-in conditioner and serum. Will not buy in the future
I've used this product for ages - and I mean ages - when the bottle was blue.It's a great product for keeping fine hair in place, but ever since they changed to the pink container it always seems to clog up at some point. And when it does, it stops being a spray, and instead fires out an extremely fine jet of gel in a random direction (usually in your eye or right over the top of your head).In fact, with the last lot I bought, the nozzle actually stopped working altogether, leaving me with half a bottle of spray and floppy hair.Rinsing in warm water (as recommended) doesn't usually make things any better. I fact, if you have to put such a recommendation on the container, it's obviously not fit for purpose.

My hair has always been quite hard to tame and style, so when I came to using this product I wasn't very optimistic. I sprayed on towel dried hair as directed and then blow dried, followed by some loose curls using hair straighteners. I then also added a bit more of the spray for good measure. The spray produced a fine mist, and from using it at around 5pm, followed by heavy partying into the early hours, I then awoke the next morning with my hair virtually the same as when I started.
