I got my straightner very fast it was really unexpected.such a quick delivery never happened. I do a lot of online shopping a few times I had to chase or write a few emails to track down my delivery even when the delivery is from within New Zealand. I used my straightner, it was my first purchase VS Sassoon brand. I really like it. I had a little bit of issue when I started using it .the reason is the heat settings and on button is located at the same place where the hand goes to hold the straightner. The temp. can easily go up and down when the hands gets on to the straightner handle. But now I know how to tackle it so longer that's an issue. Thanks VS Sasson for making a frizz defense hair straightner that makes my life easy.

I’m sorry to say that I returned the Straightener and got myself a different brand. I was really drawn to the VS one in the shop and all it offered but on using it the next day, found it to be not very ‘user friendly’. It kept losing heat and turning off. I felt the reason for this was because the controls were right where I was holding the product to be able to Straighten my hair, it was rather frustrating. I thought I’d be able to deal with it, so tried holding it differently but it still kept losing heat and turning off. So I returned it and got another brand, that doesn’t have the control right where you hold onto it.

The straightener does straighten the hair however if you split your hair into small sections the ends of the hair don't straighten due to the plates not fully closing, thus the hair just falls through. The controls are also in a weird spot so when you use it you might accidently press the temperature controls and change the temperature. You can get around this if you hold the straighten in a different way. The hair does sometimes get stuck between the plates and the plastic surrounding them, which then pulls on the hair. Decent hair straightener for the cost. I love that it has different heat settings, especially because I have frizzy curly hair and need it at the hottest, yet my daughter has fine hair and definitely needs it cooler.Overall good value, and does exactly as intended!
Great product, but not practical to use, everytime I hold it the settings change as the buttons are located where you hold it to. very poor design. I might have to buy another product, as very frustrating, it turns off or lowers heat settings
Doesn't do what is advertised!!! Tried to style my hair in curls which most straighteners have the ability to do and this one can't even hold a curl for more that 5 minutes after cooling... when styling my hair it also gets stuck and instead of having frizz-defence technology, complete oppostie! save yourself the money and invest in a good quality flat iron that does it all!
Fantastic for colored hair leaves my hair frizz free and smooth worth the money better than the more expensive brand straighteners. I read the reviews and thought why not buy and try and iam so glad I did. Highly recommend this product well done vs great product.
I was pleasantly surprised with how well the VS Hair Straightener works. It is light to hold and I can place it close to my head due to the sleek design. Because it does not heat up on the outside, I am able to hold the straightener close to the pads, away from the temperature controls. Overall, I have found it removes frizz and straightens my without drying it out. I am very happy with my purchase.
I purchased this a few months ago and was originally happy with my purchase and wrote a review expressing this. I have changed my mind as it has stopped heating up and is now useless. Also the lead is way too long, I stood on it accidentally, which stopped me reaching the straightener to my head and I burnt my hand. Only place for this straightener is the rubbish bin.
