VTech cd1103 TrimStyle Telephone

omg dear i gave this to my son for his 16th birthday and he loved itand he said it was better than the iphone 11 his father got him i just thinkall parents should get this phone for their child as a safe starterphone not get into that disgusting clock app. overall great phone 10/10would recommend!!!!

A very cheaply made phone.

Connection cord is much too short, can't put where I had the original. Coil on receiver is way too short and can't be replaced with a longer one and the whole base lifts up when you answer the phone. Can't lower the phone ringer, it's just on or off.

Good Little Phone

It is small compared with other handsets, but it has switches for pulse/tone, ringer on/off, and listening volume. It also has a redial button, and a flash button to switch to another caller. Sound is good. Projection to the other caller is good too - my Mom is 90, hard of hearing, and can hear me if I use this phone to call her. (Yes, she needs a better phone at her end.) I notice some static when the volume switch is moved from one setting to another. Time will tell if that wiring circuit fails.

Good phone

With all the storms we’ve had this year it’s nice to have a phone that does not require electricity for my land line. I could hear my calls clearly and I was told that the person calling me could also hear me clearly. It is made of VERY light plastic which feels cheap, and I wonder about the quality. Of course, it’s just basic—no caller ID or any other features that would require electricity. But it’s great to keep around the house in case your power goes out. I’m glad I got it.

Great Basic Phone

This is a basic small phone, with clear audio on calls. The cables are built into the phone, which isn't a big deal for me. Since the clips on phone plugs seem to break some what frequently for me, I wound the original cable on the spot for the cable in the base bottom, and attached a line coupler to the original plug, and a second cable to that. This essentially gives me a phone with a built in jack, and the cable can now be easily replaced. I can still unwind the original cable from the base if I need it to be longer. If I was going to find something to complain about, it would be that the ringer is rather loud, and it can only be turned on or off with no volume control. This isn't a big deal for me either. HORRIBLE!

Do NOT buy! Of all the products I have purchased in the last decade, this V-Tech phone is the WORST quality item I have ever bought. Easy to install, the hook button that gives you a dial tone when you take the receiver off the base works sporadically (about 40% of the time) and it's often a static mess when you listen, those times that it is not "dead" in your hand because the hook button doesn't work at all. Repeated pressing of the button usually results in no improvement. So frustrating! Voice quality is not very good either, but the lack of dependability and static make this a no-brainer. Lightweight

I’ve been looking for a land line phone, just a simple phone but it needed to be lightweight. When I came across this VTech Standard Phone I wanted to give it a try!I love it, it’s exactly what I wanted. It’s a basic landline phone with a cord (don’t see that often these days and it’s lightweight! Great quality, the sound is perfect & it will last me forever. The cord is a little short but I don’t mind at all. It’s perfect for where I have it set up. Absolutely a great phone and I highly recommend it!

Non-Replaceable Coil-Cord

I wanted to replace coil cord with a 25' coil cord to this new Wall-Mountable Corded Phone - but this phone has a FIXED COIL CORD. It is NOT REPLACEABLE with a longer 25ft. cord as I wanted to do. IF YOU WANT TO REPLACE THE COIL CORD, I do not recommend.

P.H.O.N.Everybody

I GOT THIS PHONE A FEW YEARS AGO AND IT WORKS GOOD, I LIKE IT, ITS A BASIC PHONE, NO THRILLS JUST A BASIC TOUCHTONE LANDLINE PHONE. I WISH IT CAME IN BLACK, BUT I GUESS THE WHITE IS OK, AND I WISH THE BASE OF THE PHONE HAD SOME WEIGHT TO IT, YOU PROBABLY HAVE TO TAPE THE CORD TO A DESK SO IT DONT SLIDE AROUND AND FALL DOWN, BUT ITS A GOOD PHONE

VTech OK

This is a small phone. The key pad is also small, but usable unless you have huge fingers. The ringer has a pleasing sound, and it can be turned off. The sound quality is good. The permanently-attached cord connects the handset to a wall outlet and stretches comfortably to 8 feet. The bright off-white color is attractive. In short, this is a lot of phone for the money.
