Absolute garbage - Unless you like burning yourself

I was pretty excited by the prospect of getting a decent coffee in an office full of terrible tasting pods, but this was pretty short lived. From the very start it was difficult to close the water container securely without it "stripping the thread" so to speak. This very quickly resulted in boiling water squirting through the seal and giving me minor burns on my palms. After tolerating this for several days it escalated to the water container blowing right off the device giving me more significant burns. After trying to exchange it for something less garbage I finally received a replacement part from the supplier that made no difference at all.Now the entire thing needs to be sent back to the supplier for a warranty check. 6 weeks, 6 shots, and no doubt 6 days or ... MoreI was pretty excited by the prospect of getting a decent coffee in an office full of terrible tasting pods, but this was pretty short lived. There is an art and method to it, which is pretty easily and quickly learned, but I give it an easy 5 stars for both quality of the unit, and quality of coffee it produces. Seriously - if you know what you are doing, have a good bean and a good grind, it will make a better coffee than pretty much any expensive espresso machine at home! The Barista kit is a must. It's compressed and hard, which shows you the pressure this little wonder has. LOVE IT!Make sure you use a quality bean that is ground the same as you would grind for an espresso machine. Freshly roasted really helps. (Thank you Montague Roasters of Narooma for your awesome coffee beans.)This thing lives in my car camper now, and I use it every morning instead of buying the 2nd coffee of the day. It's already paid for itself within 2 weeks.Cannot speak highly enough of this unit ! Thanks Snowys.

I live in a studio apartment and absolutely do not need another machine cluttering up my counter. But after a trip to Italy (lol classic) I desperately wanted to make espresso with the crema at home. So I was intrigued when a more outdoorsy friend recommended the Nanopresso, and after using it for months now I can say I'm so pleased. Pulling a shot is so easy and the crema is lovely. I love how efficient and compact it is. I was a little worried that I would tire of cleaning the little parts every single time, but the efficient design makes it easy. I haven't had a chance to take it camping yet but I'm sure it would be a breeze. For now it makes city living a little more exciting without a big footprint. Grazie mille!

Fun to use, portable, and makes tasty espresso

I bought this along with the NS adapter. It makes a delicious shot with Nespresso pods, and is perfect to take to work with me. The cleanup with the pod adapter is quick and easy. That said I think the result it produces with the included 8 gram basket is even better than with pods but pods are most convenient when there are time and space constraints. My colleague loves the shots it produces too, and it saves us having to spend our entire break waiting in line at the coffee shop.Only have 2 concerns with this:First is that the case it comes with is not big enough when you want to add the ns adapter or other accessories, so you are either forced to buy an extra ( larger sized ) case online from Wacaco, or carry around the accessories separately.Second is that ... MoreI bought this along with the NS adapter. Incredible Juicer

This product and the company, I discovered throough a crowdfunding push where a short video gave me the insight onto the product - the NanoPresso. Then life continnued, didn't think of it until yesterday afternoon. I live in rural Quebec and things are not easily obtained. As I said, yesterday I was hunting the various stores and coffee houses around the village, looking for the replacement "O" ring for my stove top espresso maker. Fat chance, even the Italian restorant that sales similar machines didn't even know that the part needed change from time to time and therefore did not have a ghost of an "O" ring. Having faith in humanity and its search for a better coffee, I kept on going until I came upon the very last shop where maybe I could find the Grail. Luck might be a Lady but that particular one was not to be found; in its place however the shop owner was all exited about his new product, one that he thought would interest me. There it was - that very juicer I had seen a month or so ago and had found so interesting.I of course bought it. It did set me back somewhat more than my anticipated washer but its all worth since we are talking espresso.I gave the product a 4 star only because unlike an espresso machine, this works water vs. steam and therefore the result is never as hot as one would get with the standard machinery... but it is nonetheless one **** of a cup. Great work!Robert

I am so pleased with this little espresso maker. I have an espresso machine at home that I typically use on a daily but there are days when I wake up late and don’t have time to use it. I grab this little beauty, my barista kit and my premeasured espresso that I keep in packets in the freezer. As long as I have access to hot water, I can make my Beautiful little double anywhere! It’s super easy to use and not too big of a pain to clean. I’ve taken it to work, camping, and while I’m traveling. The only thing negative I can come up with is the fact that it tells you to weight out 16 g of espresso, but 16 g of espresso doesn’t fit in the little porta filters. Its less, somewhere in between 14 and 15. One of these days I’ll spend the time to figure out exactly how much ... MoreI am so pleased with this little espresso maker. I am quite impressed with a crema that this thing produces and overall just thrilled with my purchase! The grinder is for sure next on my list of things to purchase. I have to be honest I think I’m just a big fan of the brand I haven’t been disappointed yet.

Love the product - accessories are another story though
20 March 2023

I got this product for a 3 month roadtrip and am very pleased with it! Making coffee in the morning has been very easy - great start into the day. However, the “accessories” don’t last very long in my experience. The sleeve for the nanopresso does not close reliably - the zipper broke very early on during the trip. I also got the barista kit to make a whole cup of coffee instead of espresso. When putting everything back together you have to be very careful to find the right place. With ours, the tamper got stuck in the water tank - both is not usable anymore. So to put in a nutshell: the nanopresso itself is a truly good product, but think twice if you really need the sleeve and barista kit. ;)

Picked this up from the local warehouse same day and first of all, I want to thank customer support, you guys are really quick in replying to my questions!I love coffee but I’m no expert so I can’t pay too much attention to grind size, temperature or crema, actually bought this just for my long black/latte. Works perfectly fine, gives me consistent in crema (I don’t really care about this) and taste. The moss green color is really nice. I watched some videos and people said you’d better grind your beans coarser than normal espresso ground so that it works in this Nanopresso, I have no idea how coarse is enough so I have 2 sizes as shown in the photos, and the finer ground works better for me - stronger taste. I already knew that Wacaco did some decent quality stuff, I own the Pipamoka that I brew with twice every day.I always wanted to check out this device also and now I did. It's really sturdy and seems well designed and well built. Everything seems to screw together just right.I haven't tried that adapter thing yet, just manually packed finely ground coffee, I ground it to second finest setting, seems to be working alright. It's really not that difficult to use, I watched a couple Youtube videos and I'm a barista and an expert now!Regarding cleaning this thing, it seems alright, I just rinse under warm water and it has a nice brush that comes with it, it's actually really useful, and this brush is also really nice on the Pipa.I still haven't figured how to brew ... MoreI already knew that Wacaco did some decent quality stuff, I own the Pipamoka that I brew with twice every day.I always wanted to check out this device also and now I did. It's really sturdy and seems well designed and well built. My dearest bought me a Nanopresso knowing as she knows that I need my coffee and I can't always get one just when I need it most. I'd looked at the product before but was skeptical. She, however, has friends with reliable opinions who swear by it. Well, it arrived and WOW! It isn't that you get your espresso. Is that you get a genuine espresso that packs the punch I need it to pack. Which is rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Now, even when I am at home and have access to my fancy espresso machine, I am reaching for my Nanopresso. The ritual too is soothing, oddly enough. There is no big machine to spit your coffee out -- you have to take the time to boil the water, fill the container, pump the coffee ... by the time I have it ready it is as earned it.
