Does the job really well. Only loses a star for the noise. Not too bad, but could be a pinch quieter. Otherwise, really good for the price.
I have given up on the shaver. It takes longer to shave than with a disposable razor and shaving foam, and does not give as close a shave. I have to go over and over my face to have any hope of getting most of the bristles off. It seemed like a good idea at the time I bought it, but it did not work out that way.Chalk it up to experience, I guess. I have a hair clipper from the same manufacturer, Wahl, and it works extremely well, which is why I chose this item.
I purchased this within the last week to use as a skin finish shave for home fadesWhat a bargain at 1/2 price. This Lithium-ion Electric Travel Shaver is a great size, easy to use and clean, comes with travel safety cap and switch to avoid any unwanted usage in bags when travelling, and provides a great skin finish. Depending on your hair type, note that this shaver is great for very short stubble or after clipping your hair to a zero then down to skin with this as finish. Exactly what I needed and provides a close smooth skin finish. Well worth it at this price. Very happy with my purchase.

I have a Braun Mobile Pocket Shaver (Battery Operated) which I bought for $29.95 for use when I'm travelling. It has worked very well, but changing batteries wasn't ideal, especially when there's no battery life indicator. I decided to buy a rechargeable shaver, the Wahl Lithium-Ion Electric Travel Shaver for $49.95. It's a bit larger than the Braun, and it's a little noisier. I found the plastic edges at the sides of the foils were a bit scratchy. Not enough to leave a mark on my face, or draw blood, but just irritating. I've kept both, but the Braun with a spare set of batteries is my preference.
Poor shaving ability: you have to keep going over the same patch of facial ground and even then the cutters don’t/won’t trim everything and/or leave bits of facial hair uncut - a bit like lawn daisies when mowing the grass. This is not good when you are trying to get a smooth, even cut. A disgrace to the usual Wahl standard. Not impressed.
does a poor job. and harsh on the skin. I purchased it as want a travel shaver and this brand makes some fantastic other equipment, such as my outstanding Wahl cordless clippers.
