I've been using this on my dog since I got him as a puppy almost four years ago, and it's wonderful stuff. In fact, I've stuck with the puppy formula as the other Wahl shampoos, while nice, haven't worked quite as well on my dog. The smell is fresh and lasts for several days--and doesn't smell "dog-shampooish" or sharp to the nose. It seems to be pretty tear-free, which is nice just in case, and is gentle enough to use more than once a month if your dog tends to enjoy getting dirty any chance he gets. It also seems to leave the coat a little softer--my dog is wirehaired, but he still comes out a little plush, not prickly. They stopped carrying the puppy version at my local Targets, and I am so sad!

Gentle and not a strong smell. Our puppy goes to daycare while we're at work and comes home filthy some days. We have to bathe her frequently as a result and we love this gentle shampoo for keeping her clean without damaging her coat or skin.

Started buying this when my dog was a puppy and continue buying now when she's almost 3 yo. Gentle but nice smell and has never caused her any skin irritations. She likes to run through muddy creeks at the park and come home smelling like a swamp and this appropriately de-swamps her.

Made my dog so soft and silky, love it. TIP I learned from dog groomer; I dilute shampoo with water in a squeeze bottle and mix thoroughly. Allows you to wash more effectively and rinses easier. I would definitely recommend this product
Great smell. My two dogs have completely different coat textures. It works for both of them. The tear free formula really helps with long hair breeds and eye gook. My dogs love to get filthy and this really works. I do end up using quite a bit of it during each wash, but it's still worth it.
I brought this Item based on the Product Description. And I am Happy that I brought this shampoo. It's GENTLE. The scent is GREAT! This shampoo will be great for first time bath for PUPPIES. My BOY YORKIE is 5 years old and he went to sleep right after like a baby. I will continue to PURCHASE - Love the quality of the PRODUCT, the scent is really nice soft baby powder - Love it!
While this product lathered well and smelled good, it caused our pup to have uncontrollable jolts/spasm and extremely high heart rate. The reaction started 5 hrs after shampooing. We are now having to see a neurologist after a visit to our local animal hospital. SAVE YOUR PET.
Yes, it will get your puppy clean and if that's all you're looking for, this is the shampoo for you. If you're looking for a shampoo that will preserve your poodle puppy's delicate hair while you grow it out or trying to find a shampoo that will add body and shine to your poodle puppy's coat, this is not the shampoo for you. This seemed to leave my poodle puppy's hair in a fragile state, without body and definitely without shine.
We’ve been using this on our toy poodle since June, and it does great with his fur. We were concerned it would dry him out but it doesn’t at all and he smells so baby fresh! And feels so soft and fluffy. Picture of him freshly bathed and fluffed is attached for cuteness.
I have a giant breed puppy who loves to get dirty and smelly. This shampoo helps take off all the dirt from his coat but still leaves his skin moisturized and completely shines up his fur.
