Waterpik Cordless Select Water Flosser - White

This is my first experience with a waterpik. I've had it for a month and am still having trouble manipulating it around my mouth. I wonder if the countertop design might be less awkward for a beginner since you would not be handling the entire appliance when using. My other issue is the water tank. The plastic is thicker around the openings making it impossible to totally empty the chamber. If I had it to do over I would pick a different model.

I used to hate flossing my teeth and it felt like a real chore but I can’t believe how many times I now water floss my teeth every day since purchasing this product. I absolutely love it. If I had to make a decision whether to take the water flosser or my electric toothbrush on holidays with me I would pick the water flosser handsdown over the electric toothbrush. My teeth have only felt this clean after leaving the dentist. I haven’t found it messy to use as stated in other reviewsi. It took me probably two goes to get it down pat. The trick is you have to firstly use warm water, secondly, keep your mouth just slightly open and your eyes facing the basin when you use it. You will see the water running from your mouth followed by food particles. The trick is you have to firstly use warm water, secondly, keep your mouth just slightly open and your eyes facing the basin when you use it. You will see the water running from your mouth followed by food particles. Just run the nossal along your teeth the first time to get the hang of it, then when you get the hang of it you will instinctively aim between your teeth. The first time I used it I had to refill it about four times (which takes about 5 seconds) but as I kept using it with practice it became easier and faster to use. My only regret is that I didn’t purchase this years ago. Love it!

Decent pressure and effectiveness, however very hard to clean and prone to mold even when dismantled and dried after each use. This means it will definitely need to be discarded for safety reasons as the reservoir is not a replaceable part.Using a small wire bending bottle brush helps however due to the design some parts just can't be reached. The reservoir cannot be submerged in vinegar or anything else to clean according to labelling. There is a part below the reservoir which also become moldy with no means to clean at all as the opening is tiny.
