Employee ruined my collectible game case

Very disappointed that the employee that opened the box that my "Ultimate Edition" game was in decided to use a razor blade and managed to cut through the front of my game case. This was tragic seeing as one of the main features of the deluxe edition was the clear plastic sleeve with Darth Vader's helmet printed on it, so when you slide the sleeve off his helmet comes off. Well unfortunately the cut went straight through Darth Vader's helmet and now it's totally ruined. Thanks a lot Best Buy employee that didn't bother to read the box that most likely said NOT to use a razor. This is why I prefer to go in the store and pick out my items myself, but since this one was sold out everywhere and I had to order it and wait a week to pick it up, I didn't exactly have the ...Ā MoreVery disappointed that the employee that opened the box that my "Ultimate Edition" game was in decided to use a razor blade and managed to cut through the front of my game case. Overall, I love the game. I got into the lego games last year and now own several. Being that this one is star wars, makes it even more appealing to me. My only problem is it glitches off and on, freezes on occasion which messes up whatever im doing at the time (one time it froze for a minute in the middle of jumping across something and when it unfroze, I fell and died lol), and it has completely crashed a couple times so far which made me have to close it out and restart it and the whole level all over. I found out the makers had an update right after release to fix those problems, unfortunately it was for all other platforms except the switch version. Contacted them and got a basic response; they dont have any troubleshooting right now, but theyll pass the info ...Ā MoreOverall, I love the game. Each of the nine films is represented in a three to four hour segment that offers typical LEGO game minibrick and stud collection to unlock characters and extras. If you enjoy LEGO or Star Wars there is plenty to enjoy in this game.

Hello There! Best Game Ever!
9 May 2022

This is one of the best games I have ever played. I absolutely love it. Lego games never disappoint. The gameplay is fun and engaging. The graphics are stunning. And the humor is absolutely hilarious. For Clone Wars Fans, the dialogue is performed by the voice actors from the Clone Wars. It’s truly amazing to hear the iconic lines performed in those voices. I love the open world feel and all the space travel from planet to planet. It’s constantly fresh and fun. And the optional space battles are so cool. I have spent a lot of time just playing those sections because I am having such a good time. If you love Star Wars and Lego this will not disappoint. And even if you didn’t know them it would still be a fantastic game.

Or both if them separately? Steelbook is the reason I chose it over the digital copy from the PS Store and now it has tiny spots with no color that will bug me for the rest of eternity.I would recommend anyone who doesn’t desperately want the steelbook to just buy it online. I’m severely upset with this product.

How Many Times Can You Blow Up The Death Star

Overall a fun game to have on Switch. Gives a good overview of all six films. If you're expecting a 'complete' experience through all the film storylines, you may be disappointed. Many scenes that were full levels in previous games are reduced to cutscenes or are short playable sections. Some of the highlight features like boss battles and the open world mechanic somewhat makes up for it. Lots to explore and unlock in free play mode (or in the free play segments between story mode levels).Voice acting for the main characters are top notch and will be familiar to fans of the animated shows. NOT for those who enjoyed the original

I used to play the original LEGO Star Wars games. The Complete Saga was one of my favorite games as a kid, and I remember playing the opening level of "Revenge Of The Sith" on loop to grind out studs. When I got to this level, and saw that just like many others, it was reduced to nothing more than a cutscene, I was gut wrenched. TT Games took everything that the LEGO Force Awakens game did wrong and decided to go all in on those features. What made the original games so fun were wacky takes on the movies, but I genuinely think that actually playing missions from the movies takes up at most 10% of the game. The rest is a tedious, never ending spree of side missions of translating alien text or finding characters around Tattooine. It hurts me how bad this game was in ...Ā MoreI used to play the original LEGO Star Wars games. Original 3 Are Still The Best By Far!
17 April 2022

I played Lego Star Wars 2 on Xbox 360 just before I played Skywalker. #2 just had the original 3 films and was pretty fun. The original 3 films in Skywalker were the best by far. They had all of the major scenes. The humor is definitely still there & the puzzles. There isn’t as much building as past Lego games. Skywalker even made the first 3 films bearable. My favorite of those is #3 when Anakin becomes Darth Vader. The last three episodes, like the films, were pretty terrible. The only thing good about them was making fun of Kylo Ren- having him shirtless, etc. I don’t think I’d play through the last three again. But I would return to the first six, especially the original three. The game ran & looked good on the Switch. Overall, I’d give it an 8/10 or a 4/5.

Yes the levels are noticeably short, but the content is varied (but slightly repetitive) and plentiful. Easily a worthwhile purchase.

I love some of the changes they've implemented, the combat is really fun and I like the more third person view while shooting. Air battles and vehicle movement is shockingly good, I'm always excited when there's a flight level, which isn't normal for me. It's really satisfying to hear the correct engine and blaster sounds with each ship. The menu interface is oddly small and doesn't take up much of the screen. It works ok but still seems cluttered. The main reason for taking off one star is that it's a very buggy game. Some of these have been really bizarre and required completely shutting down the game and some quick maneuvering to break out of the cycle. Luckily the game does seem to save often, and does save after every collectible you find.
