Weber Family Q Cooking Grills

I received the cooking grate in very good packing & unbroken. The fit was correct. I look forward to useing it. There are many other makes & models of this cooking grate made by off brand companies but none of them have the same quality and cast iron covering. Most if not all are just bare cast iron.The delivery was very fast

Bought other brand grills for years, finally bought a Weber, best grill I have ever purchased. It’s now about 10 yrs old and works great, replace a few parts every few years and it’s tip top, Weber always has the parts and the customer service is great, thank you Weber!

Ceramic coated grates for the Q grill

The old ceramic coated grates have lasted for years, but it was time to get a new set with all of the wear and tear.They are so easy to clean and maintain.However, I would inform your service dept to stop suggesting that they be cleaned with a stiff brass brush ...that simply scratches and ruins the ceramic coating! I use a wooden fork and a stiff plastic brush instead.

EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED

So worth the cost. Great value.Tried buying locally because that’s how I support our economy the best. But, nobody carried exactly what I needed.The replacement grills are even better than the original. I know they’re both built by Webber, but these a better design. I guess Webber decided to make these last longer.They are ceramic coated! Easier to clean, they certainly won’t rust and WILL last longer. Food doesn’t stick as easy too. Our first meal was burgers. So nice to cook on a like new grill.

Grill is not what it is cracked up to be

I bought a top of the line Q grill and have had to replace the grates twice. The grill is good. The grates are terrible. They will lose the coating and rust all the time. Save your money and buy a grill with Stainless steel grates. Wasted my money on this one and will never spend another 90 bucks for a grate that will be junk in 6 months. I called Weber and the lady told me to heat it till 500 degrees. That don’t get rid of the rust. Even the covers are cheap.

Home Depot comes through once again

This is the best barbeque I have ever owned. With these new grades, it should be good for another 10 years. 😃Home Depot Canada has become my go to place for all things household. They usually have what I need in stock or it can be here within a few days with free pick up. Prices are always competitive.

Like many I got these and they look so much better then the original but fall onto the burners. We called Weber and they are sending a whole new cook box free. I thought they'd send those cheap little brackets. Very happy Weber customer. Its not a Home Depot issue, and it's not a Weber issue either when that is their offer. If you get these grates, which are way better then original, and they fall, call Weber. They will help you. My Q320 is 2 yrs old, brand new cook box free of charge. And that is the problem. The cook box flexes over time from all the heat and the original mounting tabs do not hold up the replacement grates. Weber did good :) And these definitely look to have a nice porcelain coating, unlike the originals rotted out in 2 yrs.

Replacement grates are not as good as they should be, Neither were the originals.

My old grates corroded and became useless sooner than they should have. No doubt these replacements will do the same, even though they are porcelain coated as were the originals. When I put the two new ones in, one is nearly 1/4" higher where they meet in the center. This is not due to mounts on the body of the grill, but rather how the grates were made. One is slightly bowed up, the other is flatter. That makes for the mismatch in the center. These were genuine Weber replacements. I can tell you that these grates could be made out of material what would last years longer, but you can only hope. They like selling new ones every three years I guess. On the plus side, the burner tubes are still in good condition.

The quality of the replacement grills is on par with the original. I have had the original grill for better than 10 years and the only thing I have need to do is replace the grills and it is like new again. I'm very happy that the replacement grills are of the same great quality. Home Depot did a fantastic job of shipping them out fast and they arrived in excellent shape. I would highly recommend Weber products and Home Depot to my friends and family. Give both a try, you won't be disappointed with the results.

perfect fit. Ive learned never to scrape the grates. gently brush with stainless steel brush after getting them to 500deg. Oil your meat and veggis not you grill grates. I did ruin my first set using the steel scraper edge of the grill brush, (dont do it) So far these grates are great!
