When I say she licked the bowl clean, I mean she reaaaallllyyyy licked the bowl clean!!!!! It’s been five minutes since she finished the food and she is STILL licking the bowl as I type this review. So, needless to say, I think she loves it. As for me, I really like that there are no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives and that they use real ingredients. However, it does seem like there are a lot of vitamins and minerals added as well as (natural) preservatives. The packaging and product itself reminds me a lot of a mini pouch of tuna or chicken. The front says “in sauce” but i found this to be a lot more watery in consistency. My one big issue is the price. Online it looks like you can buy a box of eight pouches for about $29. That seems pretty steep for cat food. I think I would only repurchase these as a treat for special occasions but overall, my cat is happy so I am too! I have to say that I like what I read about Wellness Appetizing Entrées. You can get them in 3 styles, Shredded, Mousse, and Flaked, and 9 flavor recipes. I chose the Shredded Chicken Salmon Recipe in Sauce. When I opened the pouch, I saw that it was real meat shredded in a broth type liquid. I really thought that my cat was going to absolutely love it. My cat is unbelievably picky when it comes to wet cat food. She started eating it and I thought she would finish her bowl. But, she was only licking the sauce and was abruptly finished. She walked away and wouldn't touch it again. It didn't smell or look bad, at all. She's just very, very picky. It had to be somewhat good for her to eat any of it. Her cat ate it all and was happy and content afterwards. If you're looking for a grain free, protein rich, real meat wet cat food for your cat, I would recommend giving Wellness a try. Unless your cat is extremely finicky like mine.

I was eager to feed my cats the Wellness Appetizing Entrees Shredded Chicken and Salmon, which I received from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. The shredded chicken and salmon looked and smelled delicious. It was in a nice broth and I would've mistaken it for freshly made chicken soup. Unfortunately, neither of my cats had any interest in eating it. One cat is notoriously picky, though she likes Costco rotisserie chicken so I thought she might be into this. The other cat has been eating any cat food we give her, but had no interest. I also tried adding some of their current wet and dry food into it, but the one cat just ate their food and left the rest. I rated 3 stars as a result, though maybe other cats will love it!

It comes in a small little pouch and looks like shredded chicken and salmon with a sauce and smells like cat food. My cat really enjoyed it we usually do dry food she doesn't like wet food but she definitely liked these little appetizers. They're more of a snack than a meal . UPDATE: Ever since I gave this to my cat her stomach has been very upset and she has been throwing up and going to the bathroom in random places. the only thing I have recently changed was adding this to her diet :( it messed up her stomach Super small packets but they are about an average feeding for my cat. so you don’t have to save leftovers and get the juices and smells everywhere in your fridge, so that’s a plus. Only thing is my cat wasn’t too crazy for it, she only ate about half of it or less then was asking for dry food. She loves food and meows for it daily but this wasn’t a must for her, so that’s why i’m giving it 2 stars. Also maybe she would’ve liked a different flavor better. Will update if she likes it later and/or if she gets sick.

I received this Wellness Appetizing Entrees Shredded Chicken Salmon for free through Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I had really high hopes for this product, and I really thought my fur-baby would enjoy it. But unfortunately, my cat was not interested in this at all. He literally smelled of it and turned around and walked away. He wouldn't even taste it. So I don't know if maybe my cat was just being picky about his food or what. It seems like a really good brand with great ingredients so maybe someone with a less picky cat would have better luck with it than we did.

My cat and I just love the Wellness Appetizing Entrees Shredded Chicken and Salmon Recipe. Comes in an easy to open and serving single meal pouch. She just goes crazy for the taste at feeding time when I open the pouch. I love that real chicken is the number one ingredient and provides nutrition and high protein she needs to stay healthy and active. Also feel good that I am providing her wet food that has no added artificial colors or flavors and free of preservatives. Supports sustained energy, healthy skin and coat, immune system, healthy teeth and bones and is highly digestible. I would highly recommend it to all cat lovers. The item description was just as described and I would buy it again.

This review was in consideration for promotional product received at no cost. Single serving packets of Wellness Appetizing Entrees have proven a hit with our picky eater! The packaging was easy open and transfer to a bowl/serving plate. The fragrance of the shredded chicken/salmon was not overbearing. It had just enough of a scent to get the old cats nose moving in anticipation. Price point appears to be around $8.99 per package of 8 pouches. That equates to just over a $1.00 per serving. Our old guy scarfed this single serving packet up in record time. If you are looking for easy, affordable single serving alternatives, give Wellness Appetizing Entrees a try!

[Rewarded Review] Not for my cats, but still may be for yours.

From a human point of view, this food seems great. It smells good, looks good, and is an easy to use packet. I thought my two cats (both 1.5 year old boys) would obviously love it.They did not.The first one (Ace, who is gray and white) sniffed it and left the room. Ok, he’s the picky one. No big deal.Orange and white Ollie came over - I figured he would eat it! Nope. Not only that, but he tried to bury it - unsuccessfully because the floor is made of tile.Dang, now I have a box of food to pass on to friends. Maybe my cats are spoiled by their regular food. I gave it three stars because I think many other not-so-stuck-up kitties would love this food. My boys did not.

We received an 8-pack sample of "Wellness Appetizing Entrees Chicken and Salmon Natural Grain-Free Shredded Wet Cat Food". We have two cats, a Himalayan that lives in our home, and a Black American breed that lives in our climate controlled workshop. I was expecting both cats to eat this up, as they both love chicken and the workshop kitty (Pipsqueak) loves wet food. Annette, the Himalayan prefers dry food, but occasionally will eat chicken, ham and tuna. Both were given two separate servings of the samples, and both only lapped up a little of the juice. Didn't touch the rest of it. I was surprised, as the samples smelled great and looked good.
