Nurse "Navigator" Rowena, RN, assigned by my Primary Care Physician, saved my life when battling a mysterious illness starting on March 8, 2020, and went on for five weeks. (While not confirmed I believe it was the virus.) She called and kept checking on me and giving me advice. Also encouraged me to contact my Pulmonary Doctor who got me on the correct prescription medicines. I told her she was my Angel of Mercy.

My husband recently got me this angel for our 42nd wedding anniversary! I collect this type of angel and I think have around 40 of them right now. I have been going through Hodgkins Lymphoma for over 16 years, and found out today that my petscan shows several tumors and as I have been through all of the Hodgkins drugs, there is nothing left to try on me. I decided to go with Hospice as soon as I need them. My doctor explained everything they would do and will just call me at first, then up my pain meds, etc. I have a beautiful shelve that a friend made me last Christmas, and all of my Willow Tree angels are on the shelf. This figurine is absolutely beautiful! I got this for my mother as a b-day gift & it really has significant meaning with the yellow roses because those are the exact flowers we had when my grandfather (her father) passed away so those flowers mean a lot to to us. My mom's b-day isn't until the 27th but I already know she's going to love this & she's probably going to add it to the table that is dedicated to my grandfather :-)
My Aunt has been in multiple nursing homes since last April. We have been unable to visit her since then. She has gone through cancer, multiple surgeries, a broken shoulder, a broken heel and now the Coronavirus. To date, she is still in the nursing home. The Willow Tree Angel is the only thing that she is allowed to have and she is so thrilled to have anything in her room.
