Our daughter had her baby 8 months ago, and through those months, there has been so much emotion. Wonderful and happy with the birth of the baby, and that she is growing so fast and is healthy, but also other emotions in knowing that just months before they found out they were having this sweety, they had lost their first baby in miscarriage. They had also lost their first furbaby, both of them had been laid off by Disney, and ultimately gave up a life career of performing for them, and moved on, selling their home in Florida to move to North Carolina for other opportunities. Life comes full circle. For almost 300 years my mother's ancestors lived in the very area of North Carolina that my daughter and her family now live. It was so meaningful to me to be able to ... I have two sisters and this “by my side” is very special to me. My oldest sisters birthday was coming up in May and since her husband has MS and is in a wheel chair my sister has not been able to get out much since he needs her assistance. She has always been “by my side”. Our mom passed away when I was nine and my sis was more like a mom to me. Both of my sisters are great but Vonnie , my sis lives in South Dakota and I’m in San Diego and I wanted to get her this. The stores here were so nice , the one on Carmel Mountain helped me by calling other Hallmarks , but no one has this. I decided to call the one in Watertown South Dakota and the girl that answered was AWESOME. She had one and wrapped it up beautifully in birthday paper , put a card on it and was so sweet. ... My amazing niece(16), she is no longer with us. Mom, dad and her big brother are devastated. No words of mine would suffice. I walked in the store, saw these figurines. I feel these are perfect for this situation. These figurines speak volumes, quietly. I hope in time, they might bring a warm smile, and revive a precious memory of our beautiful girl. Mom and dad, brother and grandma will each have their own, to keep them company. Not having facial features should allow each to remember our girl in their own personal way. Friendship Angel holding Cat. This particular angel was a gift for my friends who stepped in to watch my two cats while My husband and I were in Tampa, at Tampa General for a kidney transplant.
