Great Australian product I buy on repeat. I buy these sliced almonds regularly as I do a lot of baking. I love the convenience of having them already blanched, peeled and sliced, ready to put on top of my tarts like torta della nonna, my ginger and almond muffins, almonds biscuits and cakes like tosca cake. I really use these a lot and find them nice and seperate and crisp. It is great that they contain No artificial Colours, Flavours or Preservatives and are a product of Australia. Also great they have a 5 star health rating. My only suggestion is a re-sealable bag would be good. This is a great product I buy on repeat and will continue to do so.

Perfect. These are my go to for flaked almonds. packaging well sealed and easy to find in store. They were fresh and exactly as I would expect flaked almonds to be. Ive used them to make soft almond biscuits, using these to roll the dough in before baking. I also use them in porridge with some dried fruit as well. Great value and just as good as branded flaked almonds.

Great Australian Almonds. I like to keep a container of these flaked almonds in my pantry as they are so handy. I used them this time to top some chocolate cakes that I made in the pie maker. They worked perfectly giving a nice crunch to the tops. They are probably cheaper if you buy your flaked almonds in a bigger bag but I like the smaller bag because a big bag would take me too long to use. Buying the smaller bag ensures that they are used before that go stale. They are a product of Australia. Cost is $3. 50 for the 120g bag.

Great for your Christmas cake! This sample came in just as I was about to embark on my annual Christmas cake bake, what perfect timing!I found these flaked almonds in the baking aisle of my local Woolies and they were very easy to find. The bag requires scissors to open and unfortunately once it is opened, there is no handy sticker to tape down the open bag, which means you either leave them open or you have to use a bag clip. When I opened the bag, the smell from the almonds was appealing and made me want to try one before using them in my cooking. At the bottom of the bag, there were quite a few broken almond flakes, but I suspect that this is hard to avoid as they are very thin and delicate. The taste of the almonds was very subtle, but I suspect that is because they are flaked. They have a nice crunchy texture and are easy to eat. I have used these in many recipes now and I am really pleased with how versatile they are. These stirred well into a Christmas cake without breaking into tiny little bits, I have used them in a curry and I have sprinkled them on top of muffins. I will submit my curry recipe to Bunch when I get the chance.
Fresh and crunchy. Love that they are Australian almonds. Extremely fresh, nice and crunchy and great tasting. Toasted them in the oven for a few minutes to put on my Nigella's Lemon Pavlova. Have used slivered almonds in the past for my Honey-Vanilla Poached Apricots, but prefer flaked almonds now. Will definitely add these flaked almonds to my shopping list. Also love that they're 100% Australian. (original recipe slivered almonds, but much better with flaked)
Good for baking and salads. This is not something I’d typically buy and probably wouldn’t purchase in future. Whilst I love almonds, I prefer whole almonds and roasted almonds instead of flakes and non-roasted as these are natural flakes. However these are great for decorating cakes and slices such as this raspberry almond slice made with almond flour to heightenthe almond flavour. When I think of almonds I always think of amaretti style biscuits. I used these flakes in a salad as well with hard cheese think pecerino, apple, celery, cranberry and salad’s greens. Just toast the flakes first so you get a good crunch. Would also be good roasted on top of green beans pan fried with garlic.
Very versatile and yummy. Woolworths Almond Flakes are a great addition to a range of meals in our house. They taste so fresh, with just the right amount of crunch and flavour. Made in Australia to which is a bonus. We've add them with cranberries to make a fresh and tasty salad. We've combined it with dates to make a yummy homemade Bircher's Muslie. It also goes great on little snack plates for my toddler (love that is a healthy, non-choking hazard). I would definetely recommend.
Flavoured Flakes. We used these flakes a number of ways as recommended baked some muffins and sprinkled on breakfast cereal. Almond flakes were crunchy not stale which you would expect as flakes. Shelf life and use by date very good. Product of Australia a big plus which didn't impact the price compared to other similar products. Only negative was pack size, could have offered a larger pack size but not a big deal
Great flavour, crunchy but not dry - delish! Great straight from the pack for a snack, and healthy too! Flavourful and crunchy, but not dry. I love that they are 100% Australian ✅ in a convenient 120g pack size - plenty enough for snacking/garnish/baking but not so big that they will go stale before they are all used up. I topped a Turkey Curry on Boxing Day (Christmas leftover inspired by Bridget Jones) and yesterday topped a watermelon salad at lunch. For both meals the flaked almonds provided a tasty addition, and really good texture to finish each dish. Also the kids have enjoyed a bit of snacking … they are quite more-ish! If there are any left I also plan to add some when I bake some muffins, but we are still finishing off Christmas cake Maybe I’ll just have ... MoreGreat flavour, crunchy but not dry - delish! Versatile for sweet and savoury dishes. I use almond flakes in stir frys, sprinkled on porridge or added to home made yoghurt. When using in savoury dishes I often toast them off in a dry frypan first to give that extra toasty flavour. They are also great as a snack. Priced at $3. 50 are a reasonable buy. Thank you for the opportunity to try Woolies. A regular on my shopping list.
