Affordable and tasty. I am not a lover of olives, and have never purchased any before so receiving this sample provided an opportunity to share my thoughts. The taste is definitely an acquired one however not too salty and not spongy when eaten. I did have some problem opening the jar and lost a bit of juice in the process as the content was almost to the top. Easy to locate in store but on the bottom shelf which I thought was unusual for a WW product. Affordable and versatile for pizzas and focaccia. Family and friends were keen to purchase this brand after sampling.

Pleasant Surprise Even for a Non-Olive Fan! I have never been a huge fan of olives, unless they are elegantly perched in a martini glass. However, I recently got a chance to try them so i decided to step out of my comfort zone. I had been waiting for the right occasion to pair them with a cheese platter, but my mother-in-law had a different idea – adding them to a pasta sauce. And let me tell you, it was an OMG moment!Upon opening the jar, the rich, earthy aroma was intriguing, even to a self-proclaimed non-olive enthusiast like myself. I added a handful to the pasta sauce and blended them to the point my brain couldn't remember they were there. I was expecting my taste buds to protest but the transformation that took place was truly remarkable. The flavors were ... MorePleasant Surprise Even for a Non-Olive Fan! So I encourage you to give these olives a chance to surprise your taste buds in unexpected and delicious ways. While I might not be converted into a full-fledged olive aficionado just yet, I now know that these olives have a place beyond the martini glass!!!!

Cheap option, good for pizza and foccacia. This jar of olives is huge for the price you pay for it! You do compromise on a lot of flavour however compared to the more gourmet options. These olives are very finely sliced and are great when you need a lot of olives to put on top of pizzas, foccacias or into anything else. They wouldn't be a great 'star of the show' however, and do need to be served with something. I wouldn't use these to put on a cheese board or eat individually as you might with other olive brands. But if you are making a lot of pizzas - great choice! Especially for kids as they are more mild and a bargain! They also are not as salty as normal olives, if that is something you prefer! I personally just love the salt and the flavour!

Bought many times before. I have bought these olives lots of times before getting it as a free bunch sample. I think they are great value for the quality of the olives and can be used in a variety of ways. I love that they are pre sliced and can easily be thrown into pasta dishes, on top of pizza or eaten on their own. They dont seem to get too mushy the way some cut olives can and taste great for the price. I have always wondered why they come in a tall jar that makes it harder to get them out without tipping a whole lot out when you only need a little so a different shape container could be an improvement but I am willing to deal with what it is for the price. I will continue to buy these in the future as I think they are great value for what you get
Bland. These are conveniently sliced so I threw some into my pasta dish. They added no extra flavour except that of the olives in brine. Although not salty they added some but little flavour. Problem is, I prefer olives that add flavour with texture. My toddler who is a lover of olives didn't enjoy these either. Usually she picks out olives from food and eats them first, well not today. She tried one and didn't eat the rest. They were easy to locate within the supermarket. The price point is also good however, I won't be buying these nor recommending these, not even to toss into salads, pasta or pizza.
Ok but don't compare to deli olives. These were easy to find in store with the other bottled olives. I love olives, I would have them on everything if I could and they are a regular buy for us, although we usually buy a small container of mixed olives from the deli. The salty taste is great on so many things, or eaten fresh as a nibble. So, these were very different from what we usually have. They are firm sliced pieces, handy to go on a salad or a pizza. The taste is salty but without a real olive taste for me. At $2 for a 430g jar, they are certainly much, much cheaper than the deli olives we usually buy. They are a product of Spain, I don't know how that compares to our usual ones but I think most olives are probably imported. Ticks all the boxes. These olives are very convenient when I am making toasted sandwich or focaccia as they already pitted and sliced. The taste is very mild which I like as it doesn’t clash with other ingredients I use in the sandwich/ focaccia. The texture is just right, not cracked/soggy (had some like that before and it was yucky) and not hard (the unpitted Woolworths jar falls into the too hard category). I don’t eat a lot of olives and never eat them on their own. As long as they are not too salty I am happy. This product ticks all the boxes and the price range is great, plus the jar is full to the top. I will definitely buy it again when I need more olives next time.
The olives are a go-to pantry staple - love 'em! We haven't received these as a bunch offer but we buy them all the time and highly recommend them. They are fantastic on pizza, on focaccia, sprinkled on cheezy nachos and of course in pasta. We make the easiest pasta sauce - lots of EV olive oil in a pan (the olive oil is the sauce base), add garlic, fresh chilli, a few mashed anchovies (ps: I hate anchovies but when they are mashed into sauces they just ad a salty umami flavour) and of course the olives. Saute gently until it's all soft and golden then add cooked drained spaghett to the pan and swirl it through the sauce then top with shaved parmesan
Loved this product, not too salty, just right! Looked forward to sampling this Bunch product .. thank you Bunch!! I love being given a product, and then deciding how to make the most use out of it. Opened the bottle to make Cherry tomato, garlic, olive and basil on toasted brushetta, drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Dinner became the obvious.. pizza supreme with Olives on flat bread. Without risking the bottle being slowly pushed to the back of the fridge and forgotten, I made Olive tampenade with toasted baguette for Thursday night nibbles and drinks with friends. One bottle /product certainly went a long way in satisfying my olive craving!!

Whether you're topping your pizza or enhancing your favourite recipes, Woolworths Black Sliced Olives are a versatile and convenient option that will help elevate your meals. One of the best things about Woolworths Black Sliced Olives is that they are pit-free, making them incredibly convenient for cooking. There's no need to spend time removing pits or worrying about accidentally biting into one while enjoying your dish... Which I have done on many occasions leading me to say many words I cannot write on here. So, whether you're adding them to pasta sauces, salads, or even casseroles, these olives are ready to go straight from the jar. Halleluja for the lazy (me), busy, ( also me), time-poor (Yep, me too!) and also the impaired, sometimes people do not realise how products like this can be helpful to those who struggle using a knife because of an injury or disability. Anyway, I digress, their salty goodness adds depth and complexity to any recipe, making them a must-have ingredient in your kitchen. Say goodbye to pits and hello to hassle-free cooking with these tasty Black Sliced Olives. For all the budget pizza enthusiasts out there, they are a dream come true. These olives add a burst of flavour to your favourite pizza and at just $2. 00 they are a budget-friendly option that doesn't compromise on taste. Additionally, these olives are easy to find in-store, making them a convenient choice for busy shoppers. Whether you're stocking up for a pizza night or need a quick addition to your salads, they are a cost-effective and accessible option. They are also packed with essential nutrients. Whether added to sandwiches, wraps, or salads, they bring a flavoursome dose of healthy fats. Plus, with their handy pre-sliced form, they are convenient for quick and easy lunch preparation. Although high in sodium, they are completely fine to have occasionally. Although they are not a product of Australia they are a product of Spain which is renowned for its high-quality olives. So I can be forgiving under these circumstances. It is safe to say I highly recommend these olives and will, definitely be a purchase for me again!
