Made nice pancakes. Not one to buy cottage cheese as its not something I enjoy on its own with crackers or the like. I do not enjoy the flavour or texture on its own. I searched for a recipe to use this big tub up and quickly found a cottage cheese pancake recipe, picture attached. I followed the recipe and dropped some frozen berries on top of them before flipping to cook the other side. Served with cream, drizzle of custard I had in the fridge and a sprinkle of sugar. It was yummy and if I found myself again with a big tub of cottage cheese I would make this recipe again for sure. Cottage cheese is still not a must have ingredient for me but in saying that this product was great quality and made great pancakes. I do recommend this recipe. Great value. Alovely bright blue container making it easy to be seen amongst the refrigerated soft cheese section. Made in Australia from at least 99% Australian ingredients and with a fantastic 4. 5 health star rating. No artificial colours or flavours, and this cheese is a great source of calcium and protein. A versatile product that can be used in either sweet or savoury dishes. I made a vegetarian lasagne and used the cottage cheese in place of a bechamel sauce. I did find this a little thinner than the usual branded product are use but it made no difference to the outcome of the dish. Retailing at $6 for a 500 g tub is great value. Thanks bunch for my sample I will definitely re purchase this again.

Getting this Bunch sample had me grab a few different kinds to put to the test (last go was about two years ago). This is the same or slightly better than many other brands Iâve tried. itâs quite sour so Iâve been finding ways to mix it with various things but even having it as a snack with salt and pepper and some carrot sticks was nice. I wouldnât pop it back in my cart. This trial managed to produce a pretty good one â high-protein Bulla cottage cheese! I do highly recommend it- especially if youâre trying to help protein macros or have some variety in the proteins you choose each day. On removing the plastic lid there was a disc of foil to keep the product fresh and the lid and foil were easy to remove. The cheese smelled fresh and mild and tasted the same. The texture was creamy-crumbly and held together well on the spoon. The price was fair, the packaging is recyclable and the health rating is high. Iâm not a buyer of cottage cheese, so this sample sat in the fridge for a bit until I sought out uses suggested by others and we ended up using half the tub in an Alfredo sauce, along with Woolworths shredded parmesan and some herbs.
