Woolworths Free from Gluten Cereal Cornflakes 375g

Cornflakes are cornflakes? Finally got around to using my sample recently. I'm not a lover of conrflakes on their own as a breakfast cereal (too boring) but do use them in various recipes like honey joys and biscuitsMade cranberry and white chocolate cornflake biscuits (and used some of the leftover macadamia sample from a few months ago), they were delishDidn't notice any real differnce flavourwise, perhaps a little less sweet, than name brand cornflakes, but what did surprise me was that name brand cornflakes are not actually gluten free. Nice and Crunchy. I haven't bought Cornflakes for years so was nice to try these! No sugar required!It was delicious! I might make some Honey Joys with some of these Cornflakes as I haven't made them for many years. Thanks for the opportunity to try and I recommend these! A tasty GF product!

Great quality cornflakes. I'm not a regular purchaser of cornflakes, so was intrigued by this sample. It's not my favourite breakfast cereal as I like them crunchy and they can go soggy pretty quickly as soon as you add milk. Because of this I decided to instead use them in a recipe for cereal bars, it also included peanut butter and honey. I didn't follow the recipe as well as I should have and it was a bit crumbly but very tasty. The cornflakes stood up to the task and remained pretty in tact and crunchy. I would do this again but follow the recipe better next time. At $3 these are reasonable compared to the name brand option which is $5I would purchase these again.

Gluten free. As i picked up this packet, the top collapsed but the top did not open. So I guess all is good. Even though the cardboard is thin, the packet opens and closes correctly. The packet inside is able to be folded over to keep the cereal fresh. It is a while since I have had cornflakes but these tasted crunchy and much like what I remember cornflakes to be. I eat cereal with less sugar so this tasted a little sweeter than what I am used to. I was surprised that they were tasty. I searched for this packet near the cornflakes and found the Kellogg's gluten free, then had a though and searched down the bottom of the health food which is opposite. Not easy to find, and not where expected but I guess if you require them then you are familiar with the organisation ... MoreGluten free. My local Woolies has had a revamp and we now have half an isle dedicated to gluten free options, so I knew exactly where these would be located and was able to pick them up without fuss. I wasn't a cornflake eater prior to changing to a GF lifestyle, so I hadn't really missed this product. I decided to make some old school cornflake cookies with my sample and I was impressed with the texture of these cornflakes. The cornflakes were light, thin and crisp (More light and fragile than what I remember the original to be) and worked well in my recipe. Made in Switzerland and much cheaper than the Kelloggs GF (which are made in South Korea), I wouldn't hesitate in purchasing the Woolies free from variety if the need arose. Terrific Gluten Free Cereal. I have tried many of the Free from gluten products, mainly biscuits as I have an intolerance to gluten. I had never tried the Free from cornflakes as I always had a named brand alternative. I was so surprised at how good these were. I did a comparison between the two GF cornflakes and even asked Mr. G to also form an opinion. The other GF brand is on the left and the Free From GF is on the right. The flakes on the right were slightly paler in comparison, but generally the same size. Taste wise there wasn't a lot of difference, although the Free from went a bit soggier quicker in the milk. Since my sample of the Free From Corn Flakes, I have continued to purchase this product weekly. I am so happy there is an alternative to the other known brand, which has been hard to source the past few months with unavailability on the shop shelves. Saving a few pennies with a bigger box is an added bonus

Corn flakes are yum. Dude, oh to be a child again! I miss eating cereal after getting home from school! So after receiving this box of cornflakes our kids were stoked to do just that! They’re definitely not the most flavourful cereal, but sugar content per serve means not worrying about our kids going loopy for school! That’s a win! I ate them with skim milk, which was my own stupid fault, but even still they were crunchy and tasted like corn - all that is required of them. Made in Switzerland with a 2. 5 ⭐️ HSR. Recyclable cardboard box that didn’t reseal easily but resolved when the contents were transferred to a clear pantry container. The GF cornflakes retained their shape as good as the standard cornflakes and also crushed up compared to a standard crumb mix. Son and friends very happy with the outcome. Cutlet crumb coating held together well with a nice crunch and great taste when eaten. Florentines were a first attempt and retained their shape, crunch and taste when combined and baked. Found in the macro food aisle, these gluten free cornflakes were easy to locate. The bright box was enticing and clearly distinguishable as a gluten free product. The cardboard box opened easy and the plastic bag inside also peeled open with ease. As always with cereal, an elastic band (or similar) is required to seal the plastic bag.
