Woolworths Free from Gluten Double Choc Biscuit 160g

Good but could be better. These bickies are easy to find in Woolies (I like that there’s a dedicated section for gluten free/health food). These bickies are good as a last resort but they’re not the best. Surely there’s a way to make gluten & dairy free food (especially biscuits) genuinely tasty and not the consistency of chalk, taste like dark chocolate or chemicals I think 8 bickies in a packet is a good amount because you usually only need to cater for few people with intollerances.

Great gluten free biscuit. I absolutely loved these. As a relatively new coeliac I miss foods I used to eat and take for granted. The free from gluten double chic biscuits are delicious and a great substitute for Tim tams, if you can’t eat wheat. Yes they taste different but if you no option, then it’s a great alternative. price is expensive but so is al coeliac processed food. Small packet for which I’m grateful otherwise I would have eaten more. I’ll definitely be purchasing again

Yummy biscuits. Loved the chocolate biscuits. It was a bit different probably due to it made from rice flour. How ever it still satisfied my chocolate / sweet tooth craving and the portion, entire box, was shared amongst 3 in the family. Would get it in future. Less one star as the biscuits were crumbled when opened. Butcould be due to storage or movement when in transit doesnt affect the taste.

Lovely. I really enjoyed these chocolate biscuits. Nice to have as a treat or with a hot chocolate or chai. The quality of the chocolate is ok, not offensive. The cookie layer was a good level of crunch. I also noticed a few other cookies of different styles that I've not tried before, so I'm probably tempted to give them a go too! I'm glad there are options for different dietary needs that are easy to find and not too expensive.

I offered them with my bunch sample of free from gluten chocolate scotch finger biscuits. The double choc biscuits have an HSR of 1, are Made in Australia from at least 52% Australian ingredients, contain No Artificial Colours, Flavours or Preservatives, are Egg free, Dairy free and Lactose free and my pack had a BBDate of 28 April 2023. The 160g pack costs $3. 50 and contains 8 crisp biscuits coated in quite dark chocolate. It's unrealistic to compare them to Tim Tams as the flavour and texture are quite different. Great GF Tim Tam Alternative. Eating gluten free can be a little disappointing but these biscuits are a fun option for afternoon tea. They do taste different from standard biscuits, but most people with dietary needs (myself included) are used to some textural differences. On balance, I'd say that the texture was a fairly normal gluten free biscuit. It wasn't too gritty which can be an issue. A little too sweet for my tastes but as a special treat with a nice cuppa, these certainly hit the spot.

Great alternative. I purchased these on a whim to enjoy with my daughter who's sensitive to dairy and they were actually quite nice!I enjoyed with a cuppa and she really liked these. They are abit dry presumably because of the lack of gluten but i think theyre a great affordable treat option for people who have allergies

Nice Double Choccy Biscuits. When opening the packet there was a very pleasing chocolate aroma and inside were 8 very nice looking choccy biscuits covered in a layer of beautiful smooth dark chocolate that were screaming "eat me now' which of course I did. I enjoyed the nice crunch but the creamy filling was a bit scant and they reminded me of the chocolate treats that we had as children many many years ago. These GF biscuits would certainly make a great treat for those with allergies. Hubby is a great lover of dark chocolate and he thought these biscuits were the best. $3. 50 for 8 biscuits is a bit pricey. I would consider buying when they are on special and I really appreciated the chance to try them.

Mediocre. They look good but that’s were it stops. These biscuits have a very mild chocolate taste not what you would expect for double chocolate. Dry texture, expiry date 15/11/2022. Made in Australia from at least 52% Australian ingredients ❌ such a shame it’s not 100%. No artificial colours flavours or preservatives and a health star rating of 1. The packet contains 8 biscuits, each biscuit yields 101 calories, 5. 1 g fat, 12. 7g carbohydrate, sugars 8g and sodium 9mg. Wouldn’t purchase these again based upon taste and dryness.

Loved them! I loved these!! I haven’t had a proper Tim Tam for years so was very excited to trial the free from double choc biscuit. They didn’t disappoint! Great flavour, perfect ratio of biscuit to chocolate. I had one with my cup of tea and my kids enjoyed them as a treat in their lunchboxes. Great price point for a gluten free product, will definitely buy again. Thanks Bunch
