Oh my. Hats off to all you Gluten intolerant warriors. I could never chow how you seem to do with so little choice. I do not possess the strength to put anything like these muffins in my mouth ever again. They felt like they dissolved instantaneous at the touch, with zero flavor. No flavor, then why bother you ask. Well I was curious to see how gluten free products faired. Oh my, I met evil in the form of bread. I wouldn't even recommend then to the Gluten intolerant, their they horrible.

Game changer. Absolutely delicious. As gluten free is my lifestyle due to being coeliac, this is a game changer. No nasty after taste. A must try. I have put many other gluten free people onto this product and they love it. A win if you are gluten free. Best on the market.

My first ever bacon & egg muffin! These were easy to find, in with the other muffins, and a great price for a gluten free product - 4 for $4. 50 (usually GF is way more expensive but was actually comparable to the other regular English Muffins that we’re $6 for $5). My husband & I had bacon & egg muffins with these. They cut & toasted easily. They tasted great and not ‘heavy’ like most gluten free breads. My husband said it was great and he’s had other muffins, I couldn’t compare it to a ‘normal’ muffin as I’ve had Coeliacs all my life so I’ve never eaten one. I’ll definitely purchase these again as it would make a simple & tasty Sunday breakfast when I want to eat out but don’t want to spend the money. Only downside was the ridiculous packaging that a lot of gluten free breads are now coming out in — peel from the corner and then can’t reseal it. It’s soo stupid & I don’t know why they’ve moved GF products to this. I’ll freeze the other two but now have to put it in different packaging to freeze.

Better than expected. When I saw them I thought "oh no, these are going to be rubbish" but I was pleasantly surprised. They're very different in texture to a standard muffin. They're extremely light as well as tasty and even toast well. Be careful when cutting them in half though. Because they are so light, they're very easy to tear and once torn they will fall apart while you're eating them. Disappointed they're only 45% Australian ingredients. Come on Woolies, you can do better than that.
Make fish burgers with them. I wasn’t expecting much from these, but how wrong was I. I took these camping with me and had breakie burgers which were really good. I also had fresh fish burgers - blue bone fillet with avo, cheese, spinach, tomatoe, chili jam and Mayo. Beautifulwhat I liked most about it these is that they were light and not dry.
Fake away GF muffin for breakfast. Very impressed with the texture of this gluten free muffin - soft, not too chewy and not too sweet (very common for manufacturers to compensate sugar with lack of gluten)Agreed with fellow Bunchees that they don't taste as normal as the non gluten free version. However, i am very happy as they are not dry at crumbly at all. I treat myself by making my own version of mcmuffin by satueing fresh kale, an egg and ham. Slightly toast the muffin with a bit of butter and here we go - my fake away mumuffin!Thank you Bunch, will be putting this in my shopping list from now on!
Actually taste like English Muffins. I was a little worried when I saw how these appeared. They don’t look similar to normal English Muffins and I have been tricked in the past by the Coles brand GF products. But boy oh boy do these actually taste like English Muffins, sure nothing is like the real thing, but this is honesty as close as you’d get. Absolutely delicious, I had mine toasted with butter and honey for breakky. Im glad Woolies are coming out with more and more Gf products and hopefully they will continue in the future.
A nice surprise! I do not usually buy English Muffins and these did not look promising in the pack as I have looked forward to a number of gluten free bread products in the past and been very disappointed. But these were a nice size, soft and had a great texture. I was really surprised when I cut them in half and they did not crumble away. The taste was great, they toasted well and I enjoyed them with a variety of toppings. I will be adding these to my shopping list and keeping a pack in the freezer from now on. Much higher in fibre than I had expected. They would also be great for burgers or a replacement for bread rolls (as I have not yet found a good gluten free option). A really pleasant surprise and an enjoyable find.
Great alternative. These English muffins are great for a gluten free alternative. They have a very similar taste and texture to the original English muffins. They do have a slight unusual after taste but they are very nice. The 4 pack is a great size. The health star rating is good. The packaging isn't very sustainable though and would be better if it was resealable. The price isn't too bad compared to some gluten free products. Overall it's a great product and I'd buy it again!
More like stud muffins. These English muffins are fantastic! I really enjoyed them. Gone are the days where gluten free tasted like cardboard - these are so light and crisp up well. In my opinion they’re better than the original English muffins. My partner still prefers the original but really enjoyed trying these and would happily eat again. In saying that, if I could rate these 4. 5 stars I would - the packaging was difficult to break into and there was a lot of excess plastic. Aside from that, LOVED the product and would buy again!
