GREAT ALLROUNDER. I have been using these in my morning smoothies and they are great, rich dark red in colour, quite big and full of flavour. At $7 per 500gram packet, better than fresh price wise, last longer than fresh and are convenient. Am going to try them in my next batch of brownies and muffins (as I usually use fresh). Also am going to make ice blocks with coconut water, so versatile I keep thinking of more and more uses.

Good for cooking with. The only good thing about theses raspberries is they are convenient to have in the freezer. I made raspberry and white chocolate muffins. I can’t compare these frozen raspberries to any others because I don’t buy them. I actual prefer to use fresh raspberries as they are Australian. These frozen raspberries were packed in Chilli from varies origins. Our farmers have very stringent standards to meet when it comes to producing food for us. Do these other countries have the same standards as our Aussie farmers?. I did wash and boil these frozen raspberries before I used them.

Frozen Fresh..... Great way to have fresh berries when not in season. These frozen Raspberries were fabulous. I used them in a White Chocolate/Raspberry dessert. Ideal. Flavour yum, perfect!Only criticism..... whilst there were loads of whole berries, there was also lots of "bits" in the pack. Recommended as a great standby when fresh berries are not in season.

Excellent. These are great but I had to take a star off for not being an Australian product. A shame really. My husband loves these, still frozen, in his sparking wine. Something I am not overly keen on-but it makes him happy. I like to make a coulis with them by heating gently in a pan with a little caster or icing sugar to taste and sometimes an appropriate liqueur like Famboise etc then pushing through a sieve to remove the seeds. If you put it in a squeezy plastic sauce bottle (cheap as chips) you can squeeze artistic ribbons of this through a custard or thin cream surrounding something like a molten chocolate pudding or warm brownie then draw a toothpick or similar through it to get spikey points or swirls. It always looks really impressive and tastes great. ... MoreExcellent. These are great but I had to take a star off for not being an Australian product. A shame really. It always looks really impressive and tastes great. The sharpness is a good contrast to a rich dessert. You can also freeze leftovers in the sauce bottle with the cap on to use later. Simples. They also make a great 'sorbet' like other frozen fruit by whizzing in the food processor with caster or icing sugar and/or booze if desired then serving straight away as an icey treat. An economical way to add raspberries into your life! (And they don't go mouldy in a day or so like fresh ones!)
Handy pack. Size of the handy pack is good. These are always expensive, no matter if fresh or frozen. however i think they are over rated. mostly they are bitter. Under ripe. I actually dont enjoy them that much because of this. Wish they were left to ripen a bit longer. They are great on many sweet dishes, and smoothies, but as they are so bitter, you need a lot of sugar to mask that. these were nice, but too bitter for me. They will have to go in with other ingredients in smoothie or sweets. Thankyou
Love these in desserts! These are a staple in the freezer (along with blueberries) because well, I use them all the time! They always taste good and the price is good for what you get. I often make raspberry and white chocolate muffins, because obviously it is a taste sensation. But I will add it to cereals, oats, smoothies, any dessert really that calls for them. I will never not buy these Yuuuummmooooo
Very convenient to have in the freezer. These frozen berries are tasty, convenient and excellent in slushies, smoothies and provide an instant dessert when stirred through yoghurt or custard. Because of that, we often have different frozen fruits in our freezer and these berries were as good as any of the others we have tried. One tip that we would like to pass on to other 'Bunchies', is that if you buy a larger pack of frozen berries, do yourself a favour and 'portion' the contents up into small zip-lock snack bags immediately upon the larger packet. We recommend folk do this as frozen fruit does tend to partially thaw quite quickly, and it can easily become one big 'clump'. The smaller packets are easier then to quickly grab from the freezer.
Perfect for my family. I've been buying these over recent years and find they're perfect to have in the freezer and can be used with a lot of different things. The bag was easy to open and it's convenient having the zip seal on the top. The raspberries were full of flavour and tasted fresh. I enjoyed having them with my oats for breakfast. I could put a few on top frozen and after pouring some boiling water over my oats and leaving for a few minutes the raspberries tasted delicious. My kids enjoyed having the raspberries mixed with some yoghurt for a snack and I even made a delicious slice, using these berries, instead of the fresh ones that the recipe called for. Compared to the price of fresh raspberries, these are reasonably priced and I didn't have to worry about eating them fast, so fear of them going mouldy or spoiled in the fridge. When I picked up this sample the price was $5. 80 for 500g (I think this time last year they were about $5 for the same size) but I noticed as of the 03. 05. 22 there was a price drop and it's now $5. 50. They have a 5 star health rating, which is great and has no artifical colours, flavours, preservatives or added sugar. It's a bit disappointing that it's packed in China from multiple origins, so we really have no idea where these berries are coming from. I would much prefer these to be Australian raspberries. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed these and will definitely be purchasing them again in the future. Thank you Bunch.
Versatile, convenient product. I love this product and have purchased it many times. It is great and I use it in desserts, smoothies and fruit coulis. However the three star rating is due to storing and packing. On quite a few occasions, including this free taster, it must have been left out of the freezer while they were restocking, packing etc. When I got it home and (yes I do use freezer bags transporting my foods when shopping) and went to use it a couple of days later it was a solid block of ice. Woolies, please take a little more care with your frozen fruits when packing and restocking. I often see a whole trolley of frozen foods just left in the aisle and nobody there to put it away.
Affordable and tasteful. A fantastic and family friendly version of a great product. Fresh fruit is often not affordable nor in season, but frozen varieties are. These raspberries are full of valuable nutrients that are a cheaper alternative to buying fresh produce. You can control how much you require- portion size, by getting them out of the freezer when needed. All details of nutrition are on the side panel along with country of origin.
