Love love love these. i love tinned tomotoes and these were great. of course I use them for spaghetti bolognaise and osso bucco and any dish that needs a rich tomato sauce. But my favourite way is as an accompaniment to a big breakfast or just on toast. my uncle gave me the best recipe; In a saucepan put;tin of tomatoes - break them up while cooking. honey (2. 5 tablespoons)butter (1-2 tablespoons)salt (big pinch)all to taste. In brackets are my approx quantities. It is absolutely delicious.

Tasty and juicy. This product is easy to find on the shelf, and the price point is favourable compared to branded cans, at 80 cents. Most tinned tomatoes are from Italy, as these are, and I understand why people buy them (including me) instead of Australian ones... they are around $1. 40 each !!I normally buy diced tomatoes, but these were just as good, and they made a great sauce for my chicken cacciatore. I will buy this brand again, and I recommend it to everyone. Thanks to bunch for the opportunity to sample another great product

Why pick more expensive? I sometimes buy these because Jamie Oliver told me to. He says to buy the whole tomatoes when buying tinned, because they're the best ones that haven't been damaged at all. I don't know if I believe him, because I find that these taste just the same as the diced. The good thing about the diced is you don't have to stand at the saucepan for an hour smashing them up into chunks the kids will eat. So in that case, I probably prefer the diced to these, but these are still a great buy nonetheless. Five stars from me.

So glad to have tried these. These tomatoes were very nice, tasting. First time, I have had peeled tomatoes, that were actually peel less. A lot of named brands, seem to leave skin on some. I tried half a tomato on its own. Lovely flavour of tomato and juice. I then made the rest into a tomato and onion pie, with bread crumbs on top. A blast from the past, as I haven't made one for years. Will certainly have in my pantry, again, although I still like tomato soup in my various sauces.
Tomato is okay but beware, the can is a hazard. Many times, all the home brand products have this sharp edges on the pull tab. We have been scratched multiple times. It's dangerous as cans can be rusty and might cause tetanus. Hopefully woolies can be aware of this.
Tasty. There is something about Italian Tomatoes that makes you feel you are eating something special. Enhanced flavour rich colour. Normally I would crush them during cooking but hubby was cooking that night. So we ate them whole in spaghetti sauce mince and spaghetti. So I got to bite into the whole tomato. I imagine that lots a Nona ‘s have carefully selected the tomatoes that we are eating from Grandpa s garden. Lol but that’s just me.

Staple In My Pantry. I always enjoy using this product. I prefer this whole Italian Peeled Tomatoes over the chopped tomato pieces in a similar can of same range. If I need chopped tomatoes, I chop these instead. They are very versatile. I use these in Italian, Turkish, Moroccan, Greek, Mexican or wherever you need tomatoes as part of your recipe. The flavours are there, the texture of the whole peeled plum tomatoes are excellent. They cook down nicely and give your dish a wonderful tomato flavour. They're a product of ItalyCan is recyclableExcellent price, I think at 80 cents a can4. 5 Health ratingVegan friendly
Thick sauce and chunky tomatoes. I usually buy chopped tomatoes and have never bought whole tomatoes before. I was pleasantly surprised with how much tomato juice there is around the tomatoes. The sauce seems thicker than in the chopped tomatoes can, which is a plus. I looked for recipes for whole tomatoes but didn’t find anything too exciting so ended up doing meatballs in a tomato sauce. I fried an onion, added the tin of whole tomatoes, and added a pile of chopped herbs. This simmered for about 10 minutes and then I added the meatballs. It turned out delicious. I will definitely buy these again next time and replace the chopped tomatoes I have been using.
Made The Best Neapolitan Sauce. I used the tin of peeled tomatoes to make a Neapolitan Sauce. Firstly I chopped up some onions to saute in a frying pan, then Igrated some carrots to add to the fry pan. I cooked the vegetables for 5 minutes then added basil, pepper and salt and then added the tin of peeled tomatoes. I let it simmer for approx 20 minutes and it made a superb sauce to add to my fettuccine. I will definitely buy it again as it is value for money.
