Very morish. Picked up this 190g Woolworths sample of Milk Chocolate, they were priced at $2. I was not expecting these to be very tasty due to the cheap price, however, after opening them it was near impossible to stick to the recommended serving size of 25 grams, they are somewhat very tasty and addictive. I was a little surprised they only had a health star rating of 0. 5 since they are choc covered sultanas. We found them to be smooth and very morish in the mouth and very enjoyable. The only 2 negatives I have is they contain Shellac (glazing Agent), I would prefer less shine and no shellac. Other negative is while the sultanas 31% are Australian which is great I would prefer the chocolate also to be Australian. Great they contain No artificial colours, flavours ... MoreVery morish. Sweet treat. Woolworths Milk Chocolate Sultanas are a lovely sweet treat that remind me of Christmas time. The chocolate is quite nice and the sultanas were soft and flavoursome. Everyone happily gobbled these sultanas up with no complaints. Made in Australia from 31% Australian ingredients, they contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. The sultanas have a 0. 5 health star rating and you can find them on the bottom shelf of the confectionary aisle. They have a shelf price of $2. 00 for a 190g bag. We would happily buy these again and recommend them to them to others.

Let down by the chocolate grade!! I can’t say I love sultanas and for that reason I would not snack on these. Chocolate coated nuts well that’s another story!!!Nevertheless I tried these for this review and discovered my problem was not so much with the sultanas but the chocolate. The chocolate was not to my liking. Unfortunately chocolate is one of those products where if you want top quality you pay top price. I usually snack on Haigh’s chocolate so this chocolate was far too cheap tasting to appeal. I did not find this product satisfying. Of course in fairness I acknowledge the price is very reasonable therefore when on a budget these might be a good option.

Easy “go to” snack. Fairly easy to find on the shelf with its distinctive packaging and reasonably priced for what it is at $2. 00. The packet felt weighty in my hand because it is not a large container with a few items. The chocolate itself is not premium but is tasty as are the sultanas, which are also sufficiently moist and sweet. A chocolate/fruit combination is not my first preference (I do like the peanut and chocolate one) but is rather pleasant and moreish. The smooth coating on a textured surface is nicely put together. I was not very grown-up because most of the time I sucked off the chocolate and then ate the sultana. I would buy again but not in the foreseeable future.
Delicious choc sultanas. I loved these chocolate sultanas, they were plump and juicy with a good covering of chocolate. The packet says sweetly moreish and it was true, I had to put the packet away to stop myself from eating them all! They contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and have a 0. 5 star health rating which is to be expected with a sweet treat! Made in Australia from at least 31% Australian ingredients - I’m assuming the chocolate is from O/S. Ingredients are milk chocolate 59%, sultanas 39% and glazing agents. The bag is plastic so currently cannot be recycled in my area. Overall a yummy chocolate treat for a great price. I would purchase again for an occasion treat or special event.
Super delicious. Unfortunately due to not being able to eat dried fruit, this sample again went to our lovely neighbours to taste test. Their eyes lit up when they were handed over and have been reliably informed that they only lasted a couple of sittings, being extremely delicious especially whilst binge watching their latest tv series. If they are anything like the chocolate coated peanuts that I absolutely love, I can see why they said to give them 5. At $2. 00 for 190gm vs the opposition's $2. 00 for only 168gm, they are certainly very good value. Thanks Bunch for the opportunity to keep in good with the neighbours, and they are certainly converts to these super delicious little delights.
Yummy. Easy to find on the bottom shelf with the bagged chocolates. Next to the range of choc coated peanuts and almonds (which I prefer but these are tasty too). I Like the colours in the packaging, with the different colour for each type - these sultanas being a nice purple. Only 31% Aussie ingredients which is where it lost the star for me. Only 1. 5 health star rating but wasn't expecting anything more for a yummy chocolate treatCoating of chocolate is nice and creamy (it's not anything like the big brand chocolate but still nice enough and far from the cheap chocolate taste that it could have been)Very morish but I didn't eat the whole packet in one sitting Like the peanuts so I'll take that as a good thing for my portion control, plus it's technically eating ... MoreYummy. All round great snack. These sultanas were easy to find on shelf instore and were reasonably priced. The purple package helped it to stand out amongst it's colourful competitors. Great too that it was Australian sultanas that were used. Very nice flavour indeed, and almost impossible to stop eating them. My kids kept using the excuse that they were actually sultanas and that meant that they were a healthy snack. Not so much but I can't blame them for trying. Great as a snack on their own or for holiday guests, these are an excellent purchase and would delight even the most picky eater. I would definitely recommend this product and I would buy them again. Thanks very much for the sample.
Milk Chocolate Sultanas. I guess we all tend to be a sweet tooth and I do enjoy my chocolates and sweets and my ice cream. A 190-gram purple plastic bag that easily stands out. As soon you open the packet, it had a nice aroma of chocolate. At first, there was the taste in the chocolate and the sultanas was soft and chewy. The sultanas did stand out and I was surprised it was not bland like their chocolate peanuts. I wonder if the chocolate would be tastier if it was a dark chocolate instead of milk?Couldn’t eat the whole packet this time but it was nice to share with the family. It is a pity and shame that the ingredients only 31% Australian with a 0. 5%-star health rating. Chocolate quality needs inprovement. These were positioned right on the bottom shelf and I really had to give the aisle a thorough look to find them! I asked a staff member and he took me to the cake packet aisle!! I told him no they would be in the lolly aisle and made my way back to the aisle he found me in. I then located them, as mentioned, well hidden on the bottom shelf. Unfortunately the quality of the chocolate was not up to par. If I have a treat, I really want to enjoy it. I realise that means you pay a pretty penny but when it comes to chocolate, I find you can’t get away with a lower grade chocolate if you are after that creamy smooth taste. In fairness, the price is reasonable for what it is. However I would skimp on something else to afford reasonable ... MoreChocolate quality needs inprovement.
