Great Value. This pasta is great for pesto pasta and meals for the family. The quality is decent enough to enjoy it on a regular basis. Itâs not comparable to fresh though. In terms of competition for dry pasta, it does stand only slightly behind its competitors. The cost pushes it over the line for the win each week when shopping.

This Pasta saves a pretty âPenneâ . We have used this Penne quite often and always find it great. It cooks well in the 14 minutes as instructed and in that time is al-dente and doesnât stick together. At a cost of $1 for 500g it is a great buy that doesnât break the weekly shopping budget, and being such a great quality pasta you canât go wrong. We often use it in a Chicken Pesto Pasta recipe which is a favourite in our house & it never fails to impress. Thanks for the awesome sample Bunch - it is greatly appreciated

Pantry Staple. We always have a packet of this in the cupboard for the nights we need a quick easy dinner. Goes great with a pre-made bolognaise sauce or when added with some white sauce and cheese can make for a quick macaroni. Once cooked and cooked can also make a great addition to a salad. Made a beautiful ceaser pasta salad the other night with it

Ok ish. I made a pasta bolognese with this penne pasta. To be honest the pasta is small and fell apart when draining and then more when mixing with the bolognese. I'd recommend not cooking for 14 minutes, the penne is only small, I'd imagine 10 minutes would be ample and I will test this out when I cook up the remainder. This isn't one I'd try again, I prefer bigger pasta shapes to these but thanks Bunch.
Bad quality. I found this pasta, nice and easy on the shelf with like products. It is a budget friendly option. It claims to be âCrafted by a leading Australian pasta maker for perfect "al dente" texture. âOne thing I noticed straightaway was that the pasta didnât look the same as pictured on bunch. Mine had light spotting over the pasta. It might sound a little strange, but it looked like it would break easily in the water while cooking. This turned out to be true, and I found that it became a bit of a mess while cooking. The water became quite âclaggyâ. After the assigned cooking time, I wasnât happy with the texture or taste of the pasta. I do normally use a more expensive brand and I didnât expect this one to be the same but I did expect better. I guess if I was on a tight budget and desperate, I wouldnât turn this pasta away, but it definitely was not a nice pasta, and I would avoid it in the future for myself. Dinner ended up being delayed while I made some good pasta as the family did not want to eat this. They did not enjoy the taste of it.
Great lower cost alternative!. We enjoyed this pasta overall but it probably wouldnât make it onto my weekly shopping list as of right now. It is a little bit starchy compared to its competitors and I found it a bit harder to cook. With the Woolies Marco range starting at $1. 65 that is an amazing quality pasta for a lower cost. PROS:$1 is an amazing price for 500g of pastaGreat for feeding the whole family Cooks in just 12 mins. 100% Australian Durum wheat semolina (Made in Australia!! We love that!)No artificial preservatives, colours or flavours. Thankyou so much bunch!
Decent staple. This pasta is very well priced and the taste is fine but to be honest I donât love how it cooks. If you donât serve it âal denteâ the pieces fall apart. I prefer other brands that have a better shape and texture when cooked. That being said the WW spaghetti tends to hold its shape a lot better . Thanks for the sample Woolies!
Woolies Pasta Varieties. Thank you for another staple in this range. The woolworths branded pastas are great quality, economical, taste great and are our first preference. I would spend more money on a pasta only if it was not heavily sauce based, entertaining or making fresh pasta, which i enjoy. Woolies assorted brands are a great first choice, in our family and across Australian homes, we have been buying homebranded products eoducts for years.
Great filler. I used this pasta to replace spaghetti in our bolognese and it was delicious. I did cook it for the recommended maximum time of 14 minutes and some pieces fell apart, but this did not seem to affect the texture or taste that went well with the longer cooking time. Definitely on par with other more expensive brands and very affordable especially because it is so filling. Will continue to buy often as a household staple.
Versatile Affordable Staple! This pasta is always on hand in my kitchen pantry as it's great value, easy to cook and oh-so-versatile! Great for any classic pasta dishes, pasta bakes, pasta salads and much more. Love how it's made in Aus with Aus Semolina, always great to support local produce. Can't go wrong with this pasta, along with the other varieties in the Woolies range :)
