Kids didn't rate them. Had these with dinner last night. Bag was big - didn't need the whole bag as a side dish for a whole family. Didn't love the flavour, a bit strange. Kids said they were ok covered in tomato sauce but said they would only rate them 2-3 stars for taste. Didn't really get very crunchy in the oven. There are some delicious brands out there with nothing artificial but much better taste and crunch. When you buy the other brands on special they are a comparable price too. Wouldn't buy again.

Great Product. Have not had shoestring fries in years (since back when deep frying was considered “cooking”)Was pleasantly surprised with how they turned out in the air fryer. Still tasty and lots of potato. So quick and convenient in air fryer. Super delicious. Just be careful to watch for the ends catching. Touch of salt and they are ready to go. Would definitely consider buying shoestring again. Bit pricey these days but great to have in freezer as a back up plan. Great for the price compared to other brands and just as tasty.

Yum. We had these chips for dinner as a side dish for a hamburger in a roll. They were very nice and a treat!Easy to cook, in the oven.. followed the instructions and kept an eye out not to over cook them being very thin chips…. we usually make more chuncky potatoe chips. They are made from Australian potatoes and have a 4. 5 Health star rating, which surprised me They are value for money. It was nice to have these for a change, but I would probably prefer more chuncky chips, since they have a little more flavour, but we still really enjoyed these. Thank you Woolworths for the opportunity to try this sample.

Five Star Chippies!. NOT a sample but Mr FnT wanted some thin chippies for a change. Very happy I grabbed a bag of these!Australian potatoes which is great for our Aussie growers!4. 5 HSRI popped some in the airfryer at 205deg and cooked for 15 minutes, giving them a toss after 10 minutes. Perfect!Served with eggs and of course I had to squeeze some of my favourite smoked BBQ sauce on themThese chippies make the perfect side dish to either hot or cold meals. Tonight we had Tiger prawns and salads with a side of shoestring chippies. What a shame Woolies couldn't squeeze another 100gm into this bag to make a round 1kg bagMake sure you don't overcook these and you won't be disappointed!

✨chippies✨. Good lord Bunch, in the name of all that’s good and potatoey this is by far my most favourite sample yet. i love potato - boil em, mash em, stick em in a stew, but my most favourite potato format has got to be a chip. Now, don’t get me wrong i enjoy a chunky chip, a nice steak cut now and again, but the skinny French fry is my jam. Coupla’ minutes in the oven, then double that time as my oven is not great. Get two slices of bread (my preference is a nice crusty white loaf) and a generous serve of butter. Crack some sea salt over the chips (both before and after cooking, sorry heart health) and then stuff them into the buttered bread to make a sandwich. It’s ESSENTIAL that too many chips are cooked so that you have both sandwich chips and dipping chips ... More✨chippies✨. It is certainly affordable, quick and easy to make. Will defo be getting again.

Tell me a Chip that isnt Nice, Loved Them. Macca's Alternate. Always well priced pointed and presented, so 5 stars there. I don't use a Air Fryer - which is the common trend to have in your kitchen these days. So - I "Baked" them. Obviously being a Shoestring, these are not going to suit a lot of people or taste's. However, To me - They are a GREAT Macca's Alternate. LOL .. Bit of Salt .. or if you are like my Wife and Daughter - a bit of Chicken Salt ... haha. The overall Texture and Visual appearance of the Chips once cooked, are very very good. Chips arent everyones choice anymore sadly. These days, we are in an era of healthy living. But for me .. Rack them and Stack them I say. LOL If you have read this far - I say - KAHUKIWI thinks your AWESOME. Have a GREAT = ... MoreTell me a Chip that isnt Nice, Loved Them. Macca's Alternate. Easy but not for everyone. Chips is one of those things that everyone has their own preference. Thick cut, beer battered or shoe string. I cooked as described on packaging, found them to be slightly overcooked (guess this could be my mistake). Upon eating they were crunchy with minimal texture. Not much to them. No real good or bad flavour. Were plan and needed a good serving of salt on serving. Matched well with some tomato sauce. Great to have Australian product. Convient, and quick to cook. Not my personal preference, but I can see these being an easy staple for many families.

What a great surprise! I picked up my sample today. Thank you Woollies Bunch. Its a 900gms back which is quite big and within you get lots and lots of chips. Yes they are thin but their are long ones in my bag and not tiny chips. I put mine in my sausage maker to cook to see how they went and I have just eaten then freshly cooked and hot and they are quite tasty with crunchy edges on a lot but not all is because of how I cooked them. With one bag, goodness me you could cook the entire bag and feed 6, 7 or 8 people and I guess its debatable as its all to do with how much is served per person. If you going to have a fish n chip night and sit around watching your favourite TV show orrrr the Grand Final coming up or a steak and chip night. But whatever occasion you choose, I am sure with the good price as well, these chips are excellent. Low sugar and carbs and the salt is "doable' and tasty as well. You could add some chicken salt to give it another "zing". A good buy all round and Id buy again.

Convenient Freezer Snack or Side. These fries are handy to have in the freezer for a quick snack or side to go with homemade burgers or schnitzels. I cook them in the air fryer, which is very quick & easy. I shake & check on them regularly to get them perfectly crispy. They are unseasoned, so fairly basic in flavour, but that gives you the opportunity to season with your favourite flavours. I generally sprinkle with chicken salt or Tuscan herb blend. The packaging looks quite nice. I find the price to be a little high, but still less than the brand name shoestring fries. Overall, I would buy them again.

Crispy but tasteless. These reminded me of Macdonalds fries. I deep fried them in rice bran oil. The cooking instructions only include air frying or baking in the oven. I didn't really need instructions for frying, but perhaps I did overcook them a little as they were quite dry. They turned out very crispy, with a great golden colour. Unfortunately, far too dry and quite tasteless - a bit like cardboard. At $4. 50 for a bag, they are only 30 c less than a major brand name which tastes much better. So unfortunately, not a product I'd be buying regularly unless the brand names were out of stock.
