Better then expected! Ok, so I will be perfectly honest and say these have been sitting in my pantry for several months now, and any time I've wanted a light meal or snack I never went for them.. until today. They are so good you guys! I had them with butter and vegemite and I really enjoyed them! Three rice cakes were enough for a light lunch. They are nice and thin with a nice soft crunch, they are very easy to eat and a generous amount in the package and are very affordable. I have been brainstorming what else I will have on them for the remainder of the week.. might have to try some smoked salmon & cream cheese or cheese & tomato.

Cheap Surprise. Been trying lots of new products over the lock down, and glad we picked up a pack of these. Made in Australia using a poultry 51% Aussie ingredients, but it's better than some I have to say. For 150 gm pack, it'll set you back $1. 65. Using 51% whole grain corn, and some good old 'Corn Grits' (31%) Love saying 'grits' better than saying mush. (cornmeal mush) Most Americans love some 'Grits' for breakfast, I'll stick to my Weet Bix. Whole Grain Brown Rice is 17%. The health rating is 4 stars. Soon went off them, so when I picked these up they sounded interesting. Plus there was also some herby extract in them, so thought we'd give them ago. Now each cake is just under 10cm in diameter, and just shy of 5ml in thickness. On there own, they taste just like lightly buttered popcorn. Little nutty in flavour as well, the cake also didn't fall apart after each bite. They are also sealed in a 'Foiled' bag for freshness, which is fantastic. Nothing worse than stale, soft, rubbery corn cakes. When we got to the bottom of our bag, they were still nice and crisp as the very first one. And still smelt like popcorn. I popped so Hummus on top, then some sliced Tomato. Followed by some Tuna Slices, for my lunch. Yum diddly yum, 3 of these was the perfect size and quite filling. Again with all the filling on, these did not fall apart after each bite. Great snack alternative for people that crave something crunchy, like 'Moi' But would also be nice with kids lunch boxes as well. Do wish it was more Aussie, tis the only let down for me. But will be having these again and again, Mr B loves these as well. Just hope my grandson will like them, very impressed with these. If you haven't tried, spend $1. 65. You will truly be in for a Cheap Surprise!

Great lightweight lunch open. I've been looking for some quick, lightweight lunch/snack options for myself - and the kids - when we're at home. So these corn cakes came at just the right time. It's great that they're gluten-free with 'nice-guy' ingredients like brown rice and corn. I also like the 'slimness' of the cakes, making it easy to use them with various toppings. I just devoured one with peanut butter and rice malt syrup on top ... then went for seconds, using Vegemite and Nuttelex. I'm also looking forward to trying the corn cakes with avo and tuna in future!

Good snack any time. I love these Corn cakes, something light when you need to take the edge of your hunger before dinner. Today I had a really light lunch come 3pm I was hungry don’t want to eat to much was so glad I had pick up the thin corn cakes. I haven bought the corn or rice cakes for a while. I had forgot how much I love the taste of them. I did like the mix of corn and brown rice. When I first pull it out of the pack I thought a bit thin as I ate one it was alright and one was good for the snack I was looking for. Being Gluten free is a bonus too Not a lot of fat or sugar it a good snack if you watching that. Overall enjoyed the taste and crunch, meant they were fresh. I give them a 9 out 10 good snack, thank you

Crunchy and Good. At the height of the Covid19 pandemic in Australia I went to do a top up grocery shop. Rice cakes are a favourite lunch time meal for me and I had run out. But when I got to Woolworths there were none left on the shelf. I kept looking every few days but my usual brand Sunrice was not available. I guess everyone had the same idea. One day I found some Woolworths brand corn cakes and I grabbed them to try, because anything would be better than nothing! I didn't even know Woolworths made their own version before then. When I opened the bag I was surprised that it was sealed with foil the same as the other brand and the bag was full to the top. The cakes are mostly orange with a few bits of brown - the brown rice. Each cake is quite thin but very crispy and delivers a satisfying snap when you break them. I found them very enjoyable and although I prefer the plain rice cakes, I'd still have the corn cakes as they are really nice tasting and not too much different from the main brand in flavour. I would buy these again in future if my usual brand was not available or if I needed to find something cheaper. Bonus points -- Gluten free, so good for those with a gluten intolerance Made in Australia! :)(My fave way of eating them above - with cheese and gherkins!)

Already on shopping list. I have bought these a few times already! They are thin and nutritious! It's perfect for a light lunch with tasty toppings! I especially like how they are thinner and cheaper than the other brands... win win!

Convenient, healthy snack for the kids (and adults). We go through stages where we buy thin rice cakes all the time, but the kids have gone off them lately. We hadn't tried a corn / brown rice combo before, so I thought this might be a nice way to get a grain based cake back on the afternoon tea rotation. Yes, the corn cakes were a little dry as many Bunchees have mentioned, but it's a corn cake, what were you expecting? Both my one and three year olds loved them, both on their own or with lashings of avocado or peanut butter on top. Such an easy, healthy snack to have on hand for the family. I can definitely see corn cakes making it back on the menu - at least until the kids change their mind again

Another staple. I buy these snacks often because l appreciate the minimal and straightforward ingredients list. Admittedly they are a little bit bland, a pinch of sea salt would be nice but l will take that over garbage chemical flavouring anyday. We eat ours with slices of cheese peanut butter to remedy that Anyway Will continue to buy these as a healthy snack option.

Crisp and crunchy. I found my 150g bag of Thin Corn Cakes with Brown Rice easily in the biscuit rice cake section. They are thin, crispy and very delicious, especially with my favourite toppings of cream cheese and tomato and smooshed avocado and a sprinkle of sea salt. YumThey are high in whole grains and have a 4 star health rating. Made in Australia BUT with only 51% Aussie ingredients which should be higher as the ingredients state corn, corn grits and brown rice, all of which we grow hereNo artificial colours, flavours or preservatives 100% money back guarantee if you are not happyGluten free Thankyou Bunch and Woolies for this yummy sample. They are very versatile and yummy and I have bought these again

Nice alternative. I really enjoyed these corn cakes which I spotted on the shelf next to the rice cakes I usually buy. I thought I'd give them a try and I wasn't disappointed. I think the combination of corn and brown rice with a hint of herb extract works really well. The taste is predominantly corn as the name suggests but I don't think it's overpowering. The cakes tasted very fresh and had a nice crunch. I topped them with mostly savoury food but I did try one with peanut butter and banana and it was equally as tasty. Only downside is they are a little on the thin side and a few of mine crumbled as I removed them from the packet, so I am deducting one star for that.
