Good value snack, but not for me. I'm not a big fan of wafer biscuits to begin with but I did have high hopes for these after trying the chocolate ones. Unfortunately I couldn't get past the sickly sweet fake vanilla flavour. That said my husband thinks they are great! Certainly a great cheap snack if the flavour is to your taste. Based on the amazing price I will probably purchase again for my family.

Great Woolworths Branded Biscuits. Wow! At 57cents per packet you can’t go past these. Surprisingly, I think that I like the Vanilla ones better than the Chocolate ones. I made our grandkids a small ice cream sundae each over the weekend. Small scoop of icecream, chocolate sauce, crushed nuts and 2 of these wafer biscuits poked in the icecream. Their eyes said it all. They loved them. Great product to have in the pantry

80cents worth of yummy. What a delight are these little mouthfuls were! Crisp crunchy wafer surrounding a lush vanilla crème. The crème is a beautiful sweetness but not intensely powerful with a light vanilla note. Enjoyed on school lunches and also for an after lunch treat, ….. oh and with icecream Fairly inexpensive at 80c The packaging was considered well as it included a tray (recycle) for the wafer biscuits so they do not crush. The outer film does tear easily unfortunately. I really like the blue colours and picture on the front of the biscuits look true to what you get on the inside. Thank you very much for the sample!

Nice snack with a cuppa. We purchase these biscuits every week, in the three flavours. I personally had never tasted them until a few weeks ago when we were given the chocolate ones The reason being, is we buy them for a retirment village where there are a few residents that love them. Seeming they cannot get out and about we buy them for them at their request. On this bunch tasting we were given the Vanilla ones. Light in content, but tasty as can be. They are delicious. not to over powering strong in flavour, just right. I still recommend these for that quick snack with a cuppa.
A sweet treat thats not too sweet. I brought my new bunch treat home - Vanilla Creme Wafers - my granddaughters were visiting and needless to say, it didn't take long before the wafers were half gone. Lucky for me and my daughter we were able to grab a couple with a cup of tea. I found the Vanilla Creme Wafers to be delightful - not too sweet - and just enough to have for an afternoon or morning tea snack. I have always purchased the strawberry and chocolate flavours many times, but have avoided the vanilla ones because I thought they might be too sweet. These will now be a regular item in the bickie barrel, and at only. 57cents per packet, they are excellent. I like the new packaging - plastic tray - the biscuits don't break as much as they used to. They are also an excellent treat when travelling to visit distant family and to pop into the children's lunchboxes without the children having an overload of sugar.
Great Price Point Little Indulgence. The Vanilla Creme Wafers are always a welcome and affordable treat in our household. They were simple to find in-store. A great reminder of childhood. I'm sure they were always made in Australia when I was a child. My entire family enjoys them and they are gone before you know. A nice light biscuit and creme offering, great to have for a morning or afternoon tea with a warm drink. Just the right amount of sweetness and vanilla flavouring with a crispness you can rely upon. I didn't glance at the nutritional panel for sugar, salt and fat because they are only a now and then treat and that would spoil the fun od them. We don't pair them with ice-cream as that is for single wafer with no filling. I would purchase again for taste ... MoreGreat Price Point Little Indulgence. Packaging such as the tray and wrapping that is recyclable to the council roadside collection would be a great improvement, otherwise I'll take them as they are.
Cheap easy snack. I'd bought the chocolate flavoured wafers so I getting this sample was a good opportunity for us to try the vanilla wafers. I had no trouble finding them in store, even if I did have to bend down and get them from the bottom shelf!By the time we got to the car after getting some groceries the kids were hungry and restless so I decided to open the wafers right there for us to sample. The packet was easy to open and as you can see from the photo, most of the wafers were fully intact, except for a bit of a dint in two of them. Personally I found them a bit too much on the sweet side however my kids thoroughly enjoyed them. By the time we'd got home the whole packet had been eaten. There weren't any crumbs and they didn't fall apart from being dry. ... MoreCheap easy snack. They only have a 0. 5% health star rating, which makes this a sometimes food in our house but it has no artifical colours or flavours. Serving suggestion is 7 so that's two wafers per person. Unfortunately it's Made in Malaysia, so I would be happier if this was Made in Australia but for 57 cents I don't think you can really go wrong. It'd say these wafers are as good as the bigger branded wafers. This is something that I'll happily buy again for a treat for the kids in their lunchbox or a quick snack for after school. Thank you Bunch for giving my family and I the oportunity to sample this product.
Value for money. Mr 5 - I have already said my review (apparently Mum wasnt listening). Mr 6 - crunchy, tastes like vanilla ice creamMr 9 - crunchy, I like the different layers, yumHubby - not as good as the other flavours but for the price its pretty good. Me - such a well priced treat. Could be dipped in chocolate on a platter or iced with sprinkles or could even feature on a cake or on top of a sundae. I found the vanilla flavour subtle and not very natural. A little chemical, but not as bad as previous versions. It left a bit of an aftertaste. I would love a caramel version. The packaging was good and none of the wafers were broken which is always a win in my book.
Budget snack. These are delicious and cheap, great as a snack. The Woolworths brand are wider, have more filling and no dried out like other store brands. As a uni student these were a cheap treat. However, 3/5 stars as they aren’t Australian made, contain a preservative and offer little nutrition. At 1/3 sugar this flavour seems very sweet. Not something we purchase now as a household with a child, but would recommend on a tight budget.
Cheap, but delicious! I was so excited to try these out. I remember my parents coming home with a packet of strawberry wafers (as a young child) for me and opening the packet and enjoying every bite of it. We were given the opportunity to try these vanilla wafers and it was just sooo delicious. Exceeded my expectations (even hubby’s). It’s crunchy and not chewy at all and has a great taste. We’re going to purchase the strawberry one, because if the vanilla one tastes this good, I can’t imagine the strawberry one won’t taste even better . My daughter is a huge fan too! Thanks Bunch! ❤️
