Delicious and convenient. I love having a hot chocolate with whipped cream on a cold and rainy day and the Woolworths Whipped Cream is just perfect for that. It's not the same as freshly whipped cream, but great when you want something quick and easy!At $4 it's not cheap but good value compared to the other products. The cream is light and airy, creamy and delicious. My only negative would be that I like it a tad sweeter (I just had a look at the Dutch product - which I grew up with, and they contain a bit more sugar so I guess that's what I'm used to!), but this one is definitely my pick over here. The texture is great and it looks beautiful!Would recommend and buy again.

Kid would like me to buy it more! As a treat I add a can of this to the fridge and it seems to disappear without me ever catching who uses it! So if I need it for something specific I don't buy it till just before!!! It tastes great and is convenient and reasonably priced. Grandma's treat was to add some of this on top of Anzac biscuits for the kids after school! Oh the joy and how Grandma's spoil the grandkids and it is something they always remember!

Just do it! I have also been a big fan of whipped cream and the Woolies brand is a great product to have in your fridge, ready to go. The can is bright, easy to locate at the shops. It is just like any other can, easy to use, and easy to clean to keep the nozzle hygienic. The contents itself is like an airy mousse style cream. It isn't a whipped thickened cream consistency but it is perfect to be used on hot choc, coffees, iced dairy drinks or just enjoying a mouthful for fun. I like to use it on top of ice cream and some cakes, but for proper icing and decorations I would still stick to freshly whipped cream. The taste is slightly sweet but it is still creamy and delicious. I would suggest to Woolies that maybe using less sugar might be better to create that more ... MoreJust do it! It would also be nice to have different flavoured whipped cream, maybe even Woolies branded whipped mousse? It is like a dessert in a can, makes me happy! Light on the wallet, definitely a staple for any household, so get out there and buy up!

Oh Dear - Buying this was a BIG Mistake ! Think I have brought it once in 52 yearsI never buy whipped cream in a can, as it is a potentially unhealthy product in my opinion. Nothing to do with the cream. It's the gas they use that is unhealthy for you, plus I am concerned about BPA in the cans. However, I wanted to make a banana split and knickerbocker glory, and really needed this type of cream for them both. Good grief! I cannot get enough of the stuff. Finding any excuse to use it. Used it on biscuits, scones, chocolate, cheesecake, ice-cream, strawberries, Christmas fruit logs (yep I have started eating them early), even used it on top of a hot chocolate drink. I say it was a BIG Mistake, because now I want it ALL the flipping time. The only thing I have not ... MoreOh Dear - Buying this was a BIG Mistake ! The only thing I have not done (and believe me the temptation is REAL), is to squirt it into my mouth direct from the can........ because once I do that my addiction will be complete. Aghhhhhhh

Convenient light whipped cream in a can. I usually don't buy whipped cream in a can because I whip thickened cream with beaters or by hand. But it's Christmas and this Bunch item came at a perfect time for me to use on Christmas day. I easily found the Woolworths Whipped Cream at my local Woolworths (it was also available at the metro stores in the city) in the fridge section next to the other creams. It sells for $4 for the 250gm. In comparison, 300ml of thickened cream is $1. 80. The can needs to stay refrigerated for the cream inside. The can says it is made using pure cream, is suitable for vegetarians, contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, and has a 1. 5 star rating. The can says it is made using pure cream, is suitable for vegetarians, contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, and has a 1. 5 star rating. This is made in Belgium There are instructions on the back of the can for dispensing the whipped cream. There is also a warning sign that this is a pressurised container, keep it out of sunlight, away from temperatures above 50 degrees, and do not pierce or burn the can. The ingredients include pasteurised cream (62%, from milk containing min 35% milk fat), skimmed milk concentrate, liquid sugar, dextrose, propellant (nitrogen oxide), emulsifyer, vegetable gum, and flavour. It also says UHT flavoured and sweetened cream. I had to google what UHT means - "ultra-high treatment, ” or “ultra-high temperature processing" which is "Ultra-heat-treated milk is heated to temperatures of up to 150 °C for several seconds to destroy microbes and deactivate enzymes that spoil milk. "The back of the can says it serves 12, approx 20gm per serving, 59 calories per serve, containing 1gm protein, 5. 4gm fat, 2. 8gm saturated fat, 1gm trans fat, 2. 3gm carbohydrate, 2. 3gm sugars, and 5mg sodium. I decided to try the Woolworths Whipped Cream with mini pavlovas (also from Woolworths) for our Christmas dessert. The instructions were easy to follow - the cream dispensed very nicely out of the can, and when held completely upside down, it piped the cream in a perfect shape over the pavlovas. I found the whipped cream to be extremely white, it felt very light and fluffy. It tasted slightly sweet but didn't have a vanilla taste. It softened very quickly so I'd suggest you eat this asap (ie within a minute of dispensing the whipped cream) otherwise it will melt. I think there are specific uses for Whipped Cream in a can. Served on top of fruits or ice cream or cakes as a decoration or to cut through the sweetness of desserts. It is definitely a topping vs beaten thickened cream which holds it's shape a lot longer and can be used as a filling. I wouldn't use this whipped cream to make a mousse, but I could use this on top of a mousse. It needs to be eaten asap after dispensingFor $4 a can, this is a cheap and convenient whipped cream.

Delicious and convenient. I had never considered buying cream in a canister dispenser before so this was a first for me. The taste was the biggest surprise I truly didn’t expect it to taste like fresh cream and it really did. I expected more of a mock cream taste. The consistency was fluffy and light and airy and dispensed in a flowery piping bag type pattern. The convenience of having fresh cream in the fridge has been a godsend over the last week with people popping in and different meal times. The canister takes up very little room in the fridge and saved me having to get the mixer out My son has discovered you can add cream to most things sweet or savoury Hiding it from him has become my daily challenge as it can only live in the fridge so secret spots are ... MoreDelicious and convenient. My only criticism would be i found the taste to be a little too sweet for my liking; as I generally don’t add sugar to my cream. It also didn’t hold its shape for very long after dispensing so is more a cream you use just prior to eating not for decoration. Overall this is a great product and although It will not replace me whipping my own cream for convenience i will definitely buy it again.

Shake it up. All 3 of us tried this product. My son didn't like it at all. My husband loves the cream and has fond memories of standing in the fridge and squirting it in his mouth. I tried it and thought it was a light sweet cream which didn't really add much to my dessert. So hubby was the main taste tester here. He was a little bit generous with his apple pies and ice-cream and all I could see is a big mountain of squirted out cream. I even had to say ewwwwww for him to stop. I liked to pipe pretty flowers on my plate but found it hard to use it any other way to decorate. Hubby said after trying it in his coffee and squirting it in his mouth on other days that he would love for me to buy it again but it's best not to have a fountain of it on your dessert as it ... MoreShake it up. Not better than real cream. I have never bought whipped cream in a can, so this was going to be an interesting taste task. The texture was very weirdly airy, sort of like eating nothing but tasted fine. I normally don't like the taste of UHT products but this product did not have that taste and sweetness was just right. The ingredients of this cream is: pasteurised cream, skimmed milk concentrate, liquid sugar, dextrose, propellant (nitrogen oxide yikes ), emulsifyer, vegetable gum, flavour. I find the above wording of no preservatives, no artificial colours, no artificial flavours sound like the cream is healthy yet the ingredients do contain other undesirable ingredients and are ingredients that I wouldn't want to consume regularly. This cream maybe a convenient product for some, but convenience isn't my style of cooking and I would rather whip up fresh cream myself. The cream is reasonably priced and sourced from Belgium. I would prefer to support Australian companies and prefer the real taste of pure cream without added thickeners, gelatine, etc.

It tastes nice straight from the can. I used this product on my pikelets for breakfast on Christmas eve so I could put a few piece's of fruit-(yellow nectarine) on top & have it at the time altogether for breakfast but was disappointed as it came out of can in a watery form not as described on front of packaging, I also tried this product in a alcohol drink to add a bit more flavour but it didn't make much difference, it's nicely packaged, the packaging is good & lastly I also tried this product on it's own straight from the can love the taste of it but really don't have any use for it. Below are pic's of my pikelets first one whipped cream with cut up slice's of strawberry & blueberries with lightly heated cranberry sauce. & my second pic has 2 pikelets with whipped cream with strawberry & just blueberries on it's own & 2 other pikelets with the same combination but with golden syrup on top all on one plate. Update:- 3/04/2021, I used this whipped cream on top of hot chocolate making @kaztayli recipe (Hot Chocolate) it was nice, below is a pic of my hot chocolate with cream:-

Is this really suitable for vegetarians? Location: Chilling beside the Custards. Packaging: There's easy to understand instructions on how to engage the nozzle on the can. It's very easy to point and squirt! Both can and cap can be recycled. Taste/Flavour: It has that UHT cream taste with a mildly sweet flavour. Definitely a different taste from Australian made cream that's whipped at home, but still an acceptable flavour. Uses: Has many uses - on scones, cakes, squirted directly into mouth or on face, in coffee, etc. Price & Value: $4 for 250g ($1. 60 per 100g) which I think is a good value for the convenience of the product. Could it be produced in Australia some time soon please?Cons: The packaging states that the product is suitable for vegetarians. However, the ingredients list Emulsifier 471 which can either be made from animal fats or soy bean oil. Other Woolworths products that use the same emulsifier and state that they are suitable for vegetarians actually list the ingredient as Emulsifier 471 (Soy), so this left me with questioning if it really was a vegetarian product. Overall: I won't be purchasing until I can see the source of the emulsifier used but the product is convenient, easy to use and of good value.
