Low dust, low tracking and MOST effective at killing odors! I have the least smelly litter box I’ve ever had in my home since getting hooked on this litter. Scoop regularly and also occasionally sprinkle with Arm n Hammer Double Duty Litter Deodorizer. Everyone I have turned onto this litter thanks me. Safely flushable as well, so it’s not sitting in your garbage can either. People who are hesitant to get a cat because of the litter box will find this is not an issue if they use the combo described here. Another thing I think helps is a grain free diet such as the Tiny Tigers wet food. Cats are carnivores and would not eat grain in the wild; grain is put in cat food to bulk it up, but is not natural for cats to ingest. We have used this litter for years and I've never made purchase on another brand since finding it.People initially see the price tag on this litter and do a head shake or talk about how it's so much cheaper just to get clay clumping litter... but I find that we actually use less litter and have less waste per month. Effectively costing us less as a household with multiple cats.It smells nice, I like both the lavender and the lotus blossom, it's flushable if you choose to do so... but we just toss it in the lidded trashcan. I read a few that had complaints about their cats not covering their deposits completely.I notice my cat no longer does it either, but I think it's because she simply doesn't need to. The odor that accompanies the waste is absorbed by the litter it rests in.I wouldn't allow that to deter you if you're considering the brand.It's natural, harmless to cats, humans, and the environment, doesn't have a funky odor, and last but not least, it keeps the house from smelling like a giant litter box!
