Great shears but I wish I had purchased the pair listed on this site for $180 instead due to the spring. This wound metal spring in not secured to the shears so it pop out when the shears are not clasped. This has been a relatively minor inconvenience over the period of time that I have owned the item but just recently the spring collapsed into itself and no longer functions properly. I am looking forward to the repair under warranty but in retrospect, I think the design of the alternative shears might have been the better choice.
