I’ve been a fan of Xbox since the OG days, but this generation of systems has been nothing short of flawless, in my experience. The packaging is exquisite, and makes for a rather appealing unboxing experience. The only issue I ran into was regarding the Diablo download, as you have to create a specific online account through the Diablo developers that is quite a hassle (a security check system took like 20 minutes to complete, then timed out altogether). This wasn’t a big deal to me, as I didn’t buy it for this specific game, and actually had no interest in it at all (this was the only version of the Xbox series x that was able to be shipped from Best Buy at my time of purchase). Overall 10/10!

Coming from PC and back to console was easier than expected. This console is quite powerful and the design and size is great. It has a wide selection of games and pretty much has every game from previous generations thanks to backwards compatibility. Game pass is great, basically like Netflix but for games. All the Microsoft classics are there. Blu ray seems to work properly too. Really no faults to be found.Diablo 4 is a cool game that runs smoothly and looks fantastic.

The Xbox Series X is a very good console, no issues at all, great performance for this generation and Gamepass Ultimate is an amazing service for a gamer who plays on both console and PC. Diablo IV is good, but it still has a lot of issues and seems a step back from previous games in a lot of ways due to the adoption of a more MMO game style, while not fully embracing all the features that most modern MMOs include. The end game dead ends after a certain point and with paragon levels limited and min-maxing of items not providing much additional power, the fact armor sets don't exist and the drop rate of the truly powerful items is so abysmal a lot of players doubted the items even existed for weeks after the game released. It may grow over time like Diablo III did, ... MoreThe Xbox Series X is a very good console, no issues at all, great performance for this generation and Gamepass Ultimate is an amazing service for a gamer who plays on both console and PC. I would start by saying the performance is great for the Xbox series X. Most know and expect that but the problem is that the controller feels cheap and does not come with a rechargeable battery pack. This is ridiculous seeing as how the PS5 which I also have came with a haptic feedback controller that's rechargeable. It's not a complete deal breaker obviously but shows Microsoft is always being cheap. Aside from that little tidbit I'd recommend more video output options such as 2k and other refresh rates but the Xbox just goes from HD to 4K and not much between. Overall it's a great console but could have been amazing if they would. Just stop being chincy with controllers and cords.
It's a great machine don't get me wrong. It's pretty fast I got to say, but I think that about all you're paying for. I have the Xbox One and didn't really notice that big of a jump in overall. Obviously the hardware is better. I am looking forward to jumping to the accessories and possibly getting the flight simulator stuff. What I liked about Xbox X:-More games in the store vs my xbox one-Came with Diablo IV (pretty decent game)-Although bulky, I kinda like the designCons:-Not that big of a jump in graphics to be honest-Not much change with the controller (PS5 controller made upgrades to their controller)-Games I play on Xbox, I could have played on steam
Very happy that I finally updated my Xbox. The overall layout of the home screen is similar to the xbox one, so very easy to navigate.Setting up was a bit difficult the first time round as there were a few connection issues between the console and the app. Also I couldn't pair the controller and console via wireless and had to use the USB C, but now it's fine and it can be used wirelessly. Although it would have been nice if they included a longer USB C cable to save having to buy one, but they're pretty cheap to buy anyway.Left an average rating for sharing as that's something I don't use, so have no idea what it's like.
This thing is 11/10. I've always had Xbox and loved them, the Xbox One was finally getting a little weak and worn out after years of use and with everything moving to the next gen of consoles I finally bit the bullet and I do not regret it at all. Its fast, efficient, quiet and the load times for games is insane. It starts up really quick and it runs these games with high resolution and quality unlike any Xbox I've ever had. The home screen and interface is a lot like the Xbox One which seemed a little disappointing at first but it was super easy to use from the box being that it was so similar so I cant hate on it too much. Pricey, yes but worth it, also yes. Storage is a little small though, considering most of these new games are fairly large in terms of storage ... MoreThis thing is 11/10. The Xbox Series X is exactly what you want and need from a next gen console. The FPS and refresh rate are next level and when paired with a gaming tv (preferably an OLED) and surround sound the gaming experience is exceptional! The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because of Diablo 4. It was way overhyped and underwhelming in every measurable category. After loving Diablo 3 I had such high hopes for this game, but in the end it was a tragic bore. However X Box series X is incredible and I’d recommend to all avid gamers
The Xbox Series X stands as a testament to Microsoft's commitment to pushing the boundaries of console gaming. With its robust hardware, the console delivers lightning-fast load times, remarkable frame rates, and a true 4K gaming experience. Its design, although minimalist and tower-like, ensures efficient cooling, making the system run quieter than many of its predecessors. The backward compatibility feature is particularly noteworthy, allowing players to delve into a vast library of games from previous Xbox generations. However, the launch lineup of exclusive games was a bit thin, leaving some early adopters wanting more. Nevertheless, with the promise of future game releases and the power that the Series X offers, it's undeniably a formidable contender in the ... MoreThe Xbox Series X stands as a testament to Microsoft's commitment to pushing the boundaries of console gaming. I purchased this bundle because PC was excluded from couch/local co-op from Diablo IV. Being that PC Gaming has become prohibitively expensive I decided to take a chance on the Series X. I have been very surprised at how good the performance is (Far better in terms of FPS and Resolution than my GTX 1080). There are also a number of exclusives that have not made their way to PC (GOW2, etc). I would highly recommend the Series X for anyone looking to play from their couch. The only disappointment is that online mulitplayer has additional costs and that games are usually more expensive as well, storage can be an issue with only 1TB and the expansion SSD is very expesnive, and some peripherals not working with Series X. Overall, Highly Recommended.
