XGIMI Halo+ Smart Mini 1080P Portable Projector

Been looking for a portable projector for how many months already, And found this perfect projector for me. I've been using this product for 3weeks already. And I can say, it is spectacular. The quality of the image is so nice and the sound is perfect. I can use it as my TV because of it is also an android tv. But, you need to plug in with its adapter after an hour and half because it will dim once it is on battery low. But it is a good buy. Worth the price.

Xgimi Halo+ is bright, responsive, image is crystal clear, sound is excellent, fan is quiet, keystone control is the cherry on top - set up anywhere, watch from any angle. No other way to watch movies. All apps work perfectly except the native Netflix app but there are well documented ways around this - ask google. Love the versatility of using it as a speaker during the day without projection while I work, really is an all-in-one. I purchased mine June 2022 and have used it as a tv replacement almost every day since. In the first 3 months of owning I was travelling / staying in Airbnbs and took my projector everywhere with me - projecting onto any blank wall or even roller blinds. We connect to our PS4 and gaming works really well not much lag, and we move it into the backyard and watch the footy or movies when friends come around. Definitely my best purchase this year (and I bought a Mini Countryman so that’s really saying something)! Stop reading and hit the buy now. Would recommend to anyone good product all round

Wanted a 'portable projector' and this was the top of the class from my research. However, that is probably its worse quality. Maybe because it isn't plugged in I notice the big brightness drop and after 2 hours is getting to the end of the battery. But once it is plugged in I enjoy all the perks, brightness increases that I can easily watch it with lights on (same with unplugged but to a lesser degree), and it is portable, like a laptop WITH PLUG AND PLAY, that I can move it around the house and project on flat bare walls. Not sure about projecting on roofs in its user manual, but lying down and projecting 90 degrees with a 'makeshift setup' that leaves normal fan circulation works great but its design suggest this should not be done as the fan standing normally ... MoreWanted a 'portable projector' and this was the top of the class from my research. As it needs to be plugged in for best/LONG use it kinda makes roof projection hard (keeping fan circulation free with its plug connection position). NETFLIX is not possible, annoying but I cast from my internet browser directly, otherwise it feels like a normal smart TV. Sound speaker is great, half the time I listen from my Sennheiser Bluetooth headphones. Auto adjust/auto keystone is the selling quality if you move it around as much as me because this is my/houses TV replacement. Yet to take it camping like the advertisement plausibly suggest makes me questions its possibilities. It works well with room lights but with low battery time that can not be charged by a portable charger you need powered camp sites. This is my new TV and 'lying down screen' that I splashed out on knowing that it is not adjustable like the Samsung freestyle but the specs/BRIGHTNESS/ plug&play made me buy it over other projectors. I also screw it into my camera tripods sometimes. If you know tech and are willing to spend in this price range, go for it, but this is where the lines blur between 4k projectors, OLED tvs etc.

Brilliant portable projector - it takes all the apps, foxtel, Netflix,Optus sport, Stan, abc, etc. picture quality awesome and bright enough to use in a room with the blinds down

Overall very happy with the product.

I plan to use it for yoga and for projecting movies onto a wall. The XGIMI Halo has a quiet fan and colors seem accurate. There are also adjustments that can be made to the picture settings. Overall very happy with the product.
