Xpower 1000 Watt Pro-at-Home Pet Dryer & Vacuum - Green (B-2-GRN)

I am quite pleased with my purchase! This works quite well, dries my two little boys quickly. I work at Petsmart as a stylist apprentice, and have a lot of experience with the velocity dryer that we use. I’d call this a “baby” velocity! I highly recommend! 😊

Blows Cold Air

I was disappointed in this dryer. I am not a professional groomer so maybe dryers for dogs do not blow warm air but my dog was shivering the air was so cold. I would rather blow dry with a warm setting and take longer then have my dog freeze while he is dried.

Gets the job done

I have a small curly short haired dog and this dryer works for her. This dryer doesnt have the dryer settings I was hoping for, only a low or high switch... the low worked really well but it was LOUD. I can’t imagine needing the High switch option unless it’s a dense double coated breed... for puppys or dogs who are older or just more sensitive to noise, I would recommend a different model with the X Power dryer setting air control knob that twists from low air to high powered air.

Great before it caught fire

I have had the dryer for a several months not quite a year yet. Worked well and got the job done for its price. Today while I was drying a shepherd out all of a sudden it start bellowing thick electric smoke and then caught on fire. Thankfully I was by a back door and slung it outside but still really dangerous. Spend more money and get better equipment.

Love!! This product

This works great! And it wasn’t to pricey! I couldn’t believe how great it was. My German Shepard is constantly shedding and using the blower on him helped get some of that under coat out. For the price I was very amazing on how powerful it was.

Very Powerful Dryer

I raved about my XPower until it died. It barely lasted 3 years with very little home use. I ordered a new one hoping my first dryer was a dud and not normal for this brand. I prefer this dryer to other air force dryers because the sound it makes is a lot less offensive. Super strong air flow that cuts drying time to a minimum.

not bad for the price and warranty

powerful enough to fully dry a 65lb germen shepherd dog, thoroughly, in 25-35 min.. noise level a tab bit higher then a blow dryer on high, light weight and a nice amount of attachments. I'm no groomer but I like this dryer for personal use, keeps my baby girls coat dry & smelling fresh. unlike the wet dog aroma a normal blow dryer would leave lingering

Stopped working after about 20 uses. It was okay until it just stopped working. I will not buy another one.

pointless spending

So I bought this and received it yesterday. I have 2 huskies, and it’s that time of the year where they lose tufts and clumps of fur like no tomorrow. I got this to blow their coats out, and suffice to say, I’m not impressed. I spent 2 hours just on 1 dogs hindquarters, because this was barely powerful enough to remove the clumps. It removed the regular single hair sheds. But the undercoat was barely effected unless I held the hose right up, almost to his skin. since it’s also a blow dryer and puts off a little heat, I didn’t want to do that for the amount of time that would’ve been necessary to get the fur off the small area, in case it starting burning him. I should’ve just used the money I paid for this, to bring him to a groomer.

warranty great! $72 shipping to fix is terrible

Worked great until it didn’t. Had it for a couple months, used it two maybe three times and then it started to smoke and burn while in use. Company states one year warranty, which is great except for shipping is at your cost. I just got back from the post office and estimated shipping is $72. I will not be replacing this or sending it back. Great customer service bad warranty
