Heard a lot of good things about this which I'm sure you'll already know about. The only negative about this product is how it connects to other devices via Bluetooth or USB. It is fiddly and confusing as you need to follow some very specific steps to get it working as it should. The software is completely optional but there's a bunch of extra awesome features if you do use it like additional cab settings, extended SFX controls and separate noise gate and compressor so I recommend trying it.

There are multiple reviews that go into great detail on this marvelous little amp. It is ideal for bedroom/living room level playing. The best thing about the THR30 II Wireless amp is its huge sound. It is hard to believe so much sound comes from the small, amp head sized enclosure with tiny speakers. Yamaha knocked it out of the ball park! Grand Slam homer in my book. Some may balk at the price, but if you can listen/demo it first hand, you will see the cost is justified. Also, another plus with the wireless series is the blue tooth app. Another winner.

Super bit of kit. Compact and take anywhere. Very easy to dial in your own sound and allocate to one of the dedicated slots. It’s plenty loud enough for a jam. Only adverse point is the extra expense for wireless and then having to buy a separate transmitter which is not made clear up front in the blurb. Excellent service and communication from PMT. First experience with them and I will certainly be back.

The sound quality is impressive. Not the volume so much, but the sound quality. You can hear minor adjustments because of the clarity of the speakers even at lower volumes. It doesn't really distort if you turn it up either, which has been the case with other smaller amps I've messed with. The ability to easily adjust individual tones and save the presets is nice as it gives me (a novice) the opportunity to experiment with tones without investing a fortune in pedals that I might not like.After goofing around with smaller Orange, Blackstar, Ampeg (it does bass too), and Line6 amps, this one isn't cheap but it does everything I want without taking up much space. This is an excellent piece of kit.The sound is very clean and exact no matter which instrument you put through it. I'm using acoustic and electric guitars and bass. A wide range of tones available for each instrument. Plenty of volume. I haven't got anywhere near full volume yet. I'm not intending to use this in a live situation but I see no reason why you couldn't for smaller more intermit gigs. Really really good amplifier. Exactly what I needed.
Good, versatile, portable practice amp. Fairly expensive considering competitive items like the Spark amp from Positive Grid, but a solid product. Whether or not the value is really there for the price is a matter of opinion (what isn't, I suppose). Decent sound, can be loud enough for most practice applications, and portability is absolutely superb. Some limitations: the effects are fairly subtle and underwhelming in that the range of adjustment is limited - the difference in the amount of the effect from the low end of the adjustment to the high end is not as significant as I hoped it would be. Also, the amplitude changes dramatically from one amp model to the next so that you have to crank the guitar output adjustment to the max with some amp models and then you ... Reverb and Echo - Yamaha - make the upgrade where the user has more flexibility in adjusting the range of these effects without using the tap button. I want to be able to get more "echo" and "reverb," but can't the way it is made. 3. Bluetooth audio sound - is very good, but make the upgrade with even "more bass sound."Yamaha - I hope you listen to these suggestions. When I buy something that does so much but I don't need to read any manuals to operate it I know I've made the right choice. Sounds are fantastic, my favourite amp so far is the boutique, it feels very natural, not boomy like my previous desktop type amp. The effects are great, particularly the reverbs. I find myself taking it out of our little 'work from home office' while my wife or the kids are in there and noodling in the living room or the kitchen with it because I haven't had to faff around with power cables :) It has a flat setting so I use that when I'm playing around with modeller settings for gigs rather than dragging out my powercab at home. The app is really easy to use and opens up a nice compressor plus cab options etc. The clincher for me over the ... this is a great amp and I was please to see it works with my Line 6 G30 not just the G10 as advertised. great sounds and have tried it mic'ed up in a small church setting which also sounded great. love the crunch settings which you can drive or produce a clean sound by roilling the volume off a little on the guitar, also is passable as an accoustic amp although i needed a pre amp to get the tone i wanted. all in all a great amp and super big sound for its tiny size. not even as wide as my monitor. I love that i can run my pedal board from the output and feed it back into the aux input too without any noticeable lag. G30 connection does not reach as far as the normal receiver I have, but still enough to leave it several meters away without interference. shame the ...
