Yamaha YAS62 Alto Saxophone
Yamaha YAS-62 alto saxophone yellow brass gold lacquered A modern classic - The new 62 series retains its proverbial quality of intonation, balance and flexibility, but gains more color and resonance in the sound and greater musical expressiveness thanks to the new S-bow. It also comes in a new attractive and practical case. The 62 series is perfect for musicians looking for a versatile saxophone for any kind of music. The new 62 S-bow has a slightly smaller bore and is therefore easy to master. It plays very comfortably, responds easily and gives the saxophone a slightly darker tone color and a robust sound. The improved B/C# joint has a longer arm and therefore better leverage. This makes it easier to set the instrument more permanently and ensures an improved response in the low notes. The new engraving, which is even more beautifully finished with finer details, is also impressive. The purchase of this instrument includes a one-time free annual inspection by our master workshop! This is the best high school graduation present I could have imagined. I have been playing the sax since eighth grade, and was feeling a sense of loss leaving Bela (my assigned sax at school) behind. I have difficulty expressing myself in words sometimes. But, with my horn I can convey my thoughts, feelings, and emotions quite well. This sax is the ultimate, as it's ease of key mastery affords me the ability to use and explore the rich melodious sound that this instrument produces. It is truly a work of art.

Yamaha has produced the YAS-62 for 40 years and it's simply a perfect Alto. Very well build and loud! Lots of reviews just about everywhere you look.

The YAS-62III in my eyes is perfect. The saxophone plays extremely well and has quick response. It has a warm and even tone that makes it suitable for almost any genre. I've played this saxophone numerous times and every time I can't believe how amazing this saxophone is. If you're looking for a professional level saxophone, take a look at this and try it out. You won't be sorry. This is a real, hands on product review by Sean at Sam Ash Indianapolis.

This is a rugged durable watch with tons of features. I run with it and it captures my run and my workouts pretty consistently. I have used it to talk to people and they can't even tell I'm talking to them through a watch. It's not difficult to operate and the battery life is pretty good depending on your usage. I get compliments on it all the time, people love the look of this smart watch because it looks like a normal watch. This is a good sturdy watch that can take a beating and is classy enough for a night out on the town.
I am very happy with my new saxophone. It has a beautiful sound and is easy to play. I have received many compliments on my improved performance since purchasing and playing this new sax. I was especially pleased with the hospitable service that I received from Matthew Phillips at the store. He let me and my friend play as many instruments as we wanted while I decided which one to buy. He was helpful and friendly. I would recommend this buying experience to anyone interested in buying an instrument.
Please keep in mind this review is from someone who's never owned a smart watch nor do I have much to go on besides my personal review. This Gear S3 Frontier (BT) is pretty awesome. It's functions are solid, it's interface is easy to learn and intuitive. Now other might say it lacks in the department of customization I comparison to other brands. But it's specs are pretty well rounded, and I can say that in my opinion it's definitely worth the money. Though it's pretty steep in price, I feel that for someone who wants an introduction to wearable-tech or for those who have already had prior models it's a great product to have. I've only had it for the night, but have done plenty of exploring. I'm intrigued with the new Samsung Pay and look forward to testing it out. ... Along with some of the S Health Applications I can see this being a great companion. If you've shown interest in the Frontier, I would suggest snagging it.!
These are beautiful, professional saxophones. Some compare them to the Selmer France horns which is always fair but these offer a different sound. Most agree, these are brighter, more 'modern' sounding horns with consistent intonation and sound across not only the instrument itself, but also between instruments making it rare to find a 'bad' one where it has been looked after, serviced, even when well used. Purple logo editions are sought after because these early iterations of the 62 line were considered to be very well produced indeed and perhaps now because they are harder to find in good condition. The '62 line of Yamaha saxophones was top of the range and in the pro-level bracket with plenty of session musicians still using them for a bright, focused sound. ... The '62 line of Yamaha saxophones was top of the range and in the pro-level bracket with plenty of session musicians still using them for a bright, focused sound. Lovely action, logical keywork, excellent easy blowing even in the often difficult low register of the alto. In their own right, an excellent top level instrument and hold their own against Selmer, Yanagisawa and others at the same level.
This horn is very good and looks incredible. Keys are very responsive and sound is amazing. Upgrading from a student model to this one was a great investment but I am totally satisfied.
It's perfect! Exactly what my daughter wanted. The saxophone arrived in perfect condition, packed carefully to prevent shipping damages. My daughter has been playing the alto saxophone since she was in 4th grade. After a couple of beginner level saxophones, she was due for an upgrade. This fit the bill. My daughter says it sounds so much better than her previous saxophones. She is extremely happy.
I've owned one of these horns for around a year and a half when I bought it as a step uo from my student horn. In the middle and low registers the tone is rich, but in the higher end of the horn it becomes very thin sounding. A few pitch problems, but in general tuning is good. Overall tone is good although even with a classical set up... vandoren al3 mouthpiece, optimum ligature and 3-3 1/2 vandonren reeds, the horn plays on the bright side of things. Great for jazz, but for more classical concentrations go with a higher end horn. Horn has great reliability, never had to bring it to the shop and never had to replace anything. Nice asthetics lend the horn and easy to look at appearance. For the price a good horn, but for the serious, commited student buy a higher ...
