I feel like I have used some pretty harsh products before and never had much of a reaction, but this stuff will burn and pretty quickly! I don't recommend leaving it on for long at all, and maybe only use it in oilier spots instead of all over your face. 2 minutes or less the first time. I do think it works though. I used it on my chin with breakouts and I know it removed the first layer of skin so they're closer to being gone. Skins is a tiny bit red the next day, but I probably only left it on for a minute or two. The bottle will last a long time. Does smell kind of chemically, but washes off pretty quickly.

I ignored the instructions and used this quicker to the previous application than recommended. I mmediately my face started burning. I washed it off within a minute only to find that nothing relieved the burn. Finally found some relief with real aloe directly from an aloe plant leaf the following day. Aloe gel from the store did the same thing that everything else did - just intensified the burn. Now I have a very blotchy face with patches of dry peeling skin. It’s been 5 days and I still have blotchy, pink, scaling skin. It’s looking better than it did, but still going to take time to heal.

Still I haven't seen a whole lot of difference. Not because it isn't effective, but because I felt strong tingling in some areas some I'm easing into it. Each complexion is different, and might need different combination. Don't go for higher concentrations skipping the lower ones because you might do more damage than anything else.I do neutralize the product after, after removing the product, you can purchase one separately.Follow with a moisturizer you like, I wouldn't suggest exfoliating with a different item too closely after applying this one.If you use product during the AM, even though I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, if you must, it might be cautious to have sun protection.Even though in the dermatological world it isn't considered a strong concentration, I would say you want to ease yourself into it, might not use it as your 'starter' product into the acid peeling world.bear in mind you might feel some tingling, also consistency is quite runny.Take caution, I know we want to see an instant improvement especially with blemishes, though have patience.Follow manufacturer & label directions.Did this review give you some information? After reading many reviews I finally decided to purchase this Glycolic peel to help me even my skin tone, reduce pore size and overall help exfoliate my face. I did the patch test as they recommended and was fine, when I put the peel on the rest of my face I only left it on for 1.5 min, at that point I could feel the peel and see my face start to turn red. Once I rinsed off the peel, I heavily moisturized. The next morning I did have some dryness (so I just kept moisturizing) after a couple days my skin was healed and looked brighter and my pores appeared smaller.I didn't find the scent to be an issue and I feel like the quality of this product is great for the price. Given the recommended frequency of use, I feel like this product will last me a long time.

I bought the small, 5ml trial size on a whim. Wasn't sure what to expect - it was so cheap and getting the trial size meant it wouldn't matter if it was terrible. I am actually a qualified beauty therapist and cosmetic nurse so am particular about what I use. It is unusual for me to try an unknown brand on a whim but I thought "lets just see". The percentage of Glycolic was up there - so, depending on the formulation/quality etc. it was either going to be super irritating and awful, or really effective. Thankfully, it was the latter. I noticed a definite improvement in skin texture and pores. Some peeling & flaking occurred (to be expected though), but not a huge amount that made me look scary for a few days! Someone with a dryer or sensitive skin type may find this too strong - so be aware. This is probably only a once per-fortnight or month type of product, as it's so active, depending on age and skin type (you can exfoliate with more gentle products in between). It definitely "tingles" when applied (normal, however, if too much then leave on for a shorter time or perhaps too strong for your skin type), and your hands will become very dry/flaky if you don't wash it off properly (as they will too get a "peel"!), FYI. If you use other actives (vitamin C, retinol, etc.) then consider stopping them for 2-3 days prior as this could exacerbate sensitivity to this product (but also "prep" your skin to tolerate a product of this strength, so if using no actives whatsoever, prior to this, then it may be too strong for you). And be sure to wear sunscreen when using very active products like this as they will make you more sensitive and prone to sun damage. Hope this helps - please like my review if it does :)
