This is a pleasant drink but much more lemony and herby than I was anticipating based on the description. There are already many types of herbal bedtime teas one can buy, so I was a little disappointed not to find something more strongly tea in flavour. Unlike the other reviewer, there was hardly any nutmeg for me, while lemongrass strongly predominated. I tried mine in late 2018 so perhaps they've since adjusted the flavour? I would have much preferred a more nutmeggy brew.

Absolutely Delicious!

I bought these after a friend recommended them. The spice flavours come through well and make for a very refreshing & comforting cuppa. All the family love these & we have particularly enjoyed these tea bags as weve all had the cold / flu bug thats been doing the rounds & drinking this makes you feel like youre being hugged with deliciousness!

Ive been having trouble unwinding at bedtime so sleep was patchy......decided to try a Bedtime Relaxing Brew to see if it would help. I tried one with camomile but didnt really like the taste then chanced upon this Yorkshire decaf tea. I used to be able to get it delivered from my usual Supermarket but then it was unavailable so I looked on eBay....yes! Found this supplier at a very good price (unlike many) and ordered 4 boxes of 40 teabags which came quickly & well-packed. I find the tea pleasant to taste and it does seem to relax me before hitting the sack!

Flavourings are too weak

I was hoping for something with a nice flavour other than just tea - which is all this tastes like. I was hoping it might be like a weak chai taste but didnt get the nutmeg or the vanilla. Also find it strange that it lists as having more Lemon Balm and Lemongrass than the Nutmeg (3%) or the Natural Vanilla Flavouring (2%), yet cant taste those either. Basically an expensive pack of decaf tea! Very disappointed.

Great taste

Love the taste of this tea. I have it even when it’s not bedtime. Can’t really taste vanilla but the nutmeg definitely stands out. Good decaf option.

A lovely, delicate brew with added aromatherapy. The nutmeg and lemonbalm will help soothe, comfort and encourage relaxation and sleep. The lemongrass will help calm a trouble mind. It is best served with milk, its been tried with oat, almond, semi-skimmed & full fat. The opinion of this household is that it is best with oat milk. Maybe the taste combination is better? Its also had a useful sedative effect when served to a stressy greyhound. **IMPORTANT** Do not serve to builders, they will repay you by making a mess of the downstairs loo. *I am not a qualified aromatherapist -)

It s a nice idea but needs some tweaks

I drink decaf tea all the time and I have a major problem with Yorkshire Tea in that their normal tea is strongly flavoured and the decaf is as dull as ditchwater. Other decaf teas actually have some flavour so it's not just because it's decaf it's because they're not giving the flavour of their decaf enough love. This is no different but the addition of vanilla and nutmeg is lovely. So if they could sort out the base product they're adding the spices to it would be 100x better because this is actually a good idea. It's like chai but without the sugar.

Not my cup of tea

After reading the reviews, I expected to be blown away, but sadly was disappointed, I could taste the lemongrass, but not Vanilla or nutmeg, plus left an unpleasant aftertaste, as if you've just had a lepsip !. I will stick to the Toast & Jam, and the delicious Biscuit flavour in future.

So good

This tea tastes like - stick with me - you know how tea tastes when you drink it at the same time as you eat a ginger biscuit? That. Slightly spicy, not too sweet, and it it perfect as a bedtime cuppa.

Unusal

Really surprised I liked it, I drink decaf tea anyway, this is a nice alternative or addition to a nighttime routine. The first cup was err... this is strange... but it just soothes and It does make me feel a little calmer before bed. The smells as you drink are half the joy of this beverage! Served with milk still but you must let it do its thing, I personally don't remove the tea bag, isn't great luke warm, so make sure you drink it warm/hot.
