YSL is always killing it with the packaging! I absolutely love this packaging I think it is beautiful! I also love the face that the actual serum is housed in a glass container which you can take out and purchase just a refill for (for about $18 less than buying this whole thing again).The serum itself is a light weight serum that absorbs quickly into the skin. It feels nice on my skin and I do notice my skin feeling and looking brighter in the morning. I have noticed some improvement with my dark spots and I think with continued use they will disappear!I deducted one star for the fragrance because I don't think skincare items should have it. It can be irritating to some and do more harm than good.I received this product as a free sample to test out and review.

AMAZINGLY EFFECTIVE

I think this is an AMAZING product! Definitely one of my #1 go to's right now! This is exactly what my skin so desperately needed! I could see results within a week and a half applying twice daily. Has a lovely feel, blends well, and has a nice light smell! Couldn't ask for a better skin product for my complicated combination skin type!!

Best Serum ever....

I have been using this serum for over a year now. It's been the best serum ever for me. I had tried many in the past, that didn't perform at all well. This has brightened my skin, evend the tone...a beautiful product. I am 69 years old and have been frequently told I don't look my age. So that says it all....

Great Morning Serum to Brighten Up Skin

YSL has come out with a new line of serums, and this is my favorite! The packaging is gorgeous! To me this serum is perfect for the morning, it has a nice milky texture that hydrates and sits well under makeup.I really like this new brightening serum - it contains Vitamin C which I always try to incorporate into my morning routine. The texture left me a little bit glowy (but not shiny) which looked good under my foundation. I think this brightened my skin up a bit, but longer use will be able to (hopefully!) yield more results. It does have a light scent which didn't bother me. I am breakout prone and haven't had any issues with this so far, its not oily and doesn't seem to contain any ingredients that would aggravate acne. New serum is great!

I was so excited to see YSL come out with a serum! I am already a fan of their foundation and lip and eye products so my expectations for this serum were reasonably high (because of the price tag as well!). The packaging is small and light, and I was initially a little worried this product would run out fast. However, a little goes a long way and you don't have to use a ton. My biggest issue with most products is breaking out. I can tell almost immediately after using a product if it doesn't work with my skin because I'll get acne the next day. I did not get any breakouts with this serum and am very happy. It is light and blends well, without feeling oily or not allowing for additional lotion on top. Really love the vision but could be improved!

As stated in my reviews of the other two serums, this review is more of a first impression of the Pure Shots Light Up Brightening Serum which I was gifted by YSL. First off, the packaging was a little disappointing. The interior part that contains the serum is glass for some but the exterior is plastic for all of the serums. For $88, I would expect the packaging to reflect the ingredients and brand name. Other than that, I haven't experienced any adverse reactions. The glow is as gorgeous as the packaging

I just started using this new Pure Shots serum by YSL. I received it as part of a sampling campaign but my review is truly authentic and my personal opinion.First- the most obvious thing is of course the packaging. It’s a show stopper and even more gorgeous in person. In addition to being Uber luxe, it’s just as practical. The pump dispenses just enough and keeps the product “finger free” which is a huge for me. Now for the product- it absorbs immediately and hydrates beautifully. I’m planning to purchase a second formula and layer the two for added benefits. The main actives are Vitamin Cg (New to me) and Marshmallow. My skin is brighter and definitely more glowy. This was a total find for me. PS-I am 48 and mature dry skin.

Sodium Hyaluronate keeps your skin plump and hydrated while citric acid helps with the brightening aspects.I really love the way that this is packaged. The plastic outer casing is heavy and it has a luxurious feel without it being glass. The inside colored capsule is removable so you can replace it with a new one once you run out thus reducing the amount of waste that is used when creating and packaging this product.I knocked this by one star because even though 1 fluid ounce is typical for a serum, $88 seems to be a little pricey. silicone heavy antioxidant serum

The ingredient list published on here is different than the one on the packaging of the bottle itself, which is misleading. This is basically a vitamin C brightening serum. My main gripe is that it is has a silicone-heavy formula, which I personally do not like as silicones don’t get along with my acne-prone skin. If silicones don’t bother you, then I would definitely say it’s worth checking out, since it’s a comfortable formula that plays well under makeup. This is definitely something you would wear during the day to boost antioxidants and support a sunscreen. I think it could work well as a primer since it has that type of texture that might even fill in pores a little, although you probably wouldn’t want to use too much since it is pricy.
