Yves Saint Laurent Pure Shots Y Shape Serum 30 ml

The YSL Y Shape serum is a great lightweight serum that sinks in quickly into the skin. It is supposed to help with firmness and define facial features over time. I have been using this for a little while and I do feel a slight firmness and I think this could help temporarily but I don't think it would permanently help define facial features. It does help plump the skin up, and I look more radiant after application but I don't think it is a long term fix which is why I deducted one star. But I would still recommend it because it feels good, and if you are okay with the price it doesn't hurt to try it yourself.The bottle is beautiful, and the actual serum is housed in a glass tube placed in the plastic outer container. If there is one product I think is very important in skincare I would say it’s serum. I was really excited to see that YSL came out with these Pure Shots Serum. I love the refillable packaging. It’s fancy and easy to use/apply. I’m 33 years old and have gradually notice loss of firmness and elasticity over the past few years. This lightweight serum goes on very smoothly and it doesn’t feel heavy or over saturated on the skin. I was gifted this a few weeks ago and have been using it every night before bed. I have noticed a firmer and tightened skin plus it really works on contouring and sculpting your face. If you are looking for a high end serum that works I would definitely recommend.

A great serum for firmness and radiance

What a great release! I have been using this serum, complimentary from Yves Saint Laurent, everyday in the mornings, and this serum gives my skin so much firmness and radiance. I love how noticeable the firmness is, too. I'm looking forward to continuing using this product but so far I'm impressed. Because it makes my skin firm, my cheek bones look more defined when I used this! It also has peptides which are great for anti aging. The watery texture is very lightweight and fast-absorbing and doesn't leave any residue once you apply it. It also doesn't have a strong fragrance scent, which I appreciate. Definitely worth trying

I'm about to be 38 and have been taking my skin care a bit more serious, so when the opportunity to receive a free, full sized sample of this came up - I took it.First thing I noticed, the packaging. To me it's bulky and a little awkward. It's a chunky, clear plastic rectangle with a cylinder shape holding the product inside. I don't find it comfortable to hold.However, the product inside has been quite nice. I'm on week 2 of using Y Shape Firming Serum and the delicate areas (around the eyes and neck mostly) feel softer, not as papery, and look more supple. I like that it contains natural ingredients like barbary fig and peptides to rejuvenate the skin’s firmness. Great new serum

I was so excited to see YSL come out with a serum! I am already a fan of their foundation and lip and eye products so my expectations for this serum were reasonably high (because of the price tag as well!). The packaging is small and light, and I was initially a little worried this product would run out fast. However, a little goes a long way and you don't have to use a ton. My biggest issue with most products is breaking out. I can tell almost immediately after using a product if it doesn't work with my skin because I'll get acne the next day. I did not get any breakouts with this serum and am very happy. It is light and blends well, without feeling oily or not allowing for additional lotion on top. I received this complimentary Y Shape Serum from Yves Saint Laurent for testing and review purposes. I have mature skin and wanted to try this product because of the peptides in it. I've tried so many serums over the past 3 years and this one is fantastic! It doesn't leave your face sticky and you're able to apply your makeup smoothly. Shape serum

Getting old is always hard for us girls, I always find myself looking for that miracle in a bottle that’s going to delate those scary wrinkles . Finally something that does what it’s supposed to do. I will be a devoted fan of this product even tho it’s quite expensive but so worth it. Some of the benefits about this product are , firming and targeting elasticity to lift , define and sculpt . I apply this to my entire face and neck . I noticed the difference and so has my husband. My skin has become a lot plumper and the depths of my smile lines have decreased. Starting to See a Difference

At 48, I’ve noticed some sagging happening, especially in the eye contour area and jawline, in addition to a slight “sunken in” look of the side of my face below my cheeks. After reviewing the different YSL Pure Shot Serums, I thought the Y Shape Serum might be the best option for those needs. I was able to get a free product for being a test pilot with Smartson. I had Googled the product and found an application video on YouTube from YSL, but after trying that method, I wasn’t keen on it. So instead, I applied it as I would normally apply a serum and removed other products from my routine and use only this serum and my normal moisturiser, that’s when I started seeing and feeling a bit of a difference. You might not be able to see the differences as well as I can see them, because they may appear minute to others. If you see the lest side of the photo, my eye contour almost touches with the same smile on the left photo and on the right photo, there is now a separation, so something is working to cause a lift here. My smile lines are less deep, my chin are is more defined, and the hollows of my cheeks are fuller and less sunken in. This is after two weeks use and after removing other serums I would normally use. The product page does state that best results are seen with their essence used before application and their moisturiser, which I did not have, so I can imagine that it would have been even more of a visible difference. For reference too, I have combination/dry skin with light rosacea. This serum did not cause any irritation for me. I also felt like my face felt more firm without a feeling of a tight dryness, per se. No heavy fragrance and easily absorbed.
