Zempire Speedy Stretcher Bed Single V2

Its a good solid bed for two, as joined singles. As on other reviews, understand there is definitely a ridge line between the two sleepers, it not a 'double bed' as such. Its height off the ground is great, easily fits lots of gear under, unlike the double air mattress, so if your tent is compact, this is a bonus. It is a heavy stretcher unit to carry and stash, but I see the benefit when its unfolded, If either person moves it isnt unsteady, its rock solid. Excited to put it up as soon as it arrived. Very well made, really sturdy frame and overall a superb bit of kit. If you're using for camping, my only criticism would be the legs and feet are not adjustable to level out the bed if you were camping on a slope, but other than that I am really pleased with bed, the quality and ease of putting it up and down. We bought the monstamat to go with it and first impressions are that its very comfortable - probably the best sleeping kit I've come across. We are yet to fully test it out hence the 4 stars but im confident it won't dissapoint.

Just took delivery of our new Zempire speedy twin stretcher bed. Set it up in the lounge with our Wanderer 10cm Premium self inflating mattress that we already owned and we are very excited! It is so comfortable! The mattress fits perfectly. My partner and I are not lightweights, pushing the combined 200kg weight limit. We can barely feel each other turning over. The bar in the middle - which was what I was worried about - is hardly a problem. This is going to make camping so much more comfortable, especially after my partner’s multiple knee surgeries. Getting out of bed will be so much easier! As for the ‘lack of romance’ with a stretcher with a bar down the middle: we can still cuddle to an extent, and we will save our sexy time for the beach ;)

This is a great double stretcher as it holds the weight of 2 adults with good support! I love the bar in the middle, to prevent sagging and rolling into the middle!! It’s suitlable to put extra bedding on top (eg self inflating mattress, memory foam pads etc ... whatever you prefer to add the ultimate comfort). I love the height, as it allows for extra storage under the stretcher while camping in a tent.It folds up easy and has a great storage bag. A great purchase!

The stretcher bed is nice and high so it’s easy to get on and off. There is also heaps of space to store bags and things underneath if you don’t have much space. I used a thin foam mattress on top of the stretcher when was very comfortable to sleep on (and I’m super fussy!). It is also extremely quick and easy to set and also to pack up. I will be getting another one!

Can comfort get any better?

Great design, ease of setup and packup is as good as it gets. Comfortable and build quality spot on. Recomended as a go to if a stretcher is what you are looking for, add the monstermat for greatest combo.

Great combination with the Monsta matt

We already had a monstamatt but felt like it was a little thin at times. This was a great addition to add to the kit to make our sleeps super comfortable. Easy to setup and super sturdy. Feels like a real bed!

Great product from great brand

We have some zempire camping gear already so we were prepared to entertain their stretcher beds for our kids. Well built, strong double stitching and I like the elastic straps to keep the inflatable mattresses insitu. Good value. thanks

Review of Zempire Speedy Stretcher Bed

We bought this stretcher based on the hype around the speedy set up. We wanted something for our camping crazy 10yo to be able to set up for himself. First off, this thing is pretty heavy! When we went to set up the stretcher the first time, it was easier than the traditional end support style, but in no way on earth is a child strong enough to do it. Taking it down is also easy, for a teen or adult. The stretcher holds an impressive 150kg, but it is far too narrow for a person of this weight. There is a silly suede covered head rest that was designed for a concrete area, the suede attracts dirt like glue and was a mess from the beginning.Overall, it is still easy enough to set up but nothing at all like videos lead you to believe.
