Amazing mattress, I’ve never gotten such a good nights sleep before. The unboxing and unpacking of the mattress was so easy that I was able to do it myself (the box was shockingly small to hold such a big item). After removing the plastic, I was able to take a nice nap on it after 2 hrs when they say it takes up to 72 to puff up. My nap was so good I slept right through my alarm lol. And I’m usually a hot sleeper but the cooling gel was refreshing and kept me from waking up feeling sweaty and groggy (you know what I’m talking about) and it cradled me in all the right places but still provided support. I highly recommend this mattress to anyone who wants a great value for a great product, especially in this economy

This is not my first foam mattress, but it's definitely the least expensive.The exterior box, having no packing material between the walls of the box and the shrink wrapped matress, was unsurprisingly crushed. Fortunately the matress was OK. I ordered a Zinus base from Amazon and the packaging was also inadequate, resulting in a damaged base that had to be returned. I think that companies have simply decided that statistically the return costs end up being less than the cost of the the additional packaging material required to properly ship goods; so much for the customer experience.There was very little outgassing, just a mild odor for the first day. The matress expanded to its rated hight within 24 hours. Excellent!My wife and I both find the bed to be comfortable. Others refered to this bed as a rock, but I find the bed to be soft and supportive without being mushy. My experience with really cushy memory foam beds is that they feel great until you sleep on them every day and realize that your back needs more support. The bed should gradually form around your contours and not suck you in like a vacuum.I have some concerns about the long-term durabilty of the bed. While not necessarily an issue at all, the bed is by far the lightest weight of any foam bed that I've owned. I fear that the foam may not have enough density to perform over a long period of time, but maybe the resilience of the newer foams has improved such that this is not an issue. I have a 25 year old latex matress that feel as good today as the day that I bought it but is very dense and heavy compared to the Zinus. Time will tell.I did not contact Zinus, nor did I unzip the cover to peek inside at the foam, but I can feel divits all of the way around the sides of the mattress. This doesn't seem to impact the performance of the matress, but it is a bit odd. I've never had other memory foam beds with this structure. Perhaps this is how the layers are bonded. There is also a bit of delamination of the layers at one corner of the matress that I can feel through the cover.I've pointed out a number of issues, but we are still overall happy with the matress at this time. Well see how it is after 90 days.
