Solid, as pictured, and relatively easy to put together. Well packed, the packaging protected the bed effectively. It looked rough on arrival, had taken some hits, but the product inside was completely undamaged. Very heavy, had to open the package downstairs and take the pieces upstairs. Looks lovely, very pleased with the purchase.

This bed frame is amazing! Not only did it arrive 3 days earlier than expected (which was only 4 days after purchasing), it was packaged perfectly with easy-to-follow instructions. The actual frame is sturdy, it doesn't creak (especially when put flush against a wall), and holds the mattress solidly with double sided tape, so no worries about the mattress moving if you move in your sleep. The charging ports on the headboard is an added feature that pulls the whole frame together, and the cord for the charging ports is easily hidden underneath the bed! Absolutely would recommend this sleek and modern bed frame for anyone wanting to amp up their bedroom

Love this bed. Easy to put together and very sturdy. The mattress support boards are attached via Velcro rather than screws so there's no moving parts when you move in the mattress. As a result, it's the quietest bed I've ever owned. I also love the USB port (3 ports in the centre) and the two handy shelves on the head base, especially since we had to put the bed in a corner so this bed is ideal if you don't have room for bedside tables. Due to the sturdy build I feel confident leaving a glass of water up there at night. Looks fantastic. Couldn't recommend more.

Great bed! My daughter and I assembled it on our own with only minor frustration, mainly due to us misplacing the ratchet all the time.Great solid bed, usb ports are fantastic.I bought a boxed mattress from Temple and Webster and it goes great with this bed.I might buy a second one for my daughter.

Good Bed for Price

I’ve had this bed frame for 2 years. The USB ports broke within 3 months. I like the shelf aspect on the headboard and it’s been a quality bed overall. It has started to freak getting in and out now though. I would recommend this frame. For the delivery, the headboard came cracked and experienced the worst customer service trying to get a replacement. After 2 weeks of calls, they approved a new frame to be sent out and required us to ship back the broken frame in a ripped small box. I would have submitted request for warranty for the USB, but Zinus’ customer service is the worst I have ever experience that it is not worth the hassle.

Product is different than picture

The frame is nice, it's heavy and has solid construction. However the headboard is not what is pictured here, it's more like the one without the USB port; a slotted darker wood. So if you want to step up for this one bc you prefer this style over the cheaper Suzanne Metal Frame, you'll be sorely disappointed. Talked to customer service and they were no help after a week of communication.

Solid frame, "wrong" wood

I'm going to start with the frame is great. It is low as other reviewers have said, but if you're short like me and my spouse and have a thick mattress it's so nice to not have to practically climb a mountain to get into bed. I can sit comfortably and put my feet on the floor which is a nice change from our old bed frame, and definitely not something I can say about just any bed when I'm 5'1". It doesn't squeak or creak, it went together super easily, and the shelf is so useful for holding our phones and whatnot. The slat supports being Velcro attached is also genius. Now it's a darker rich toned wood with faux slatting for the headboard, which makes the visual contrast much less noticable especially if it's not super bright in the room. While that's not a deal-breaker for me given the other benefits the frame has for us, it is disappointing, and I personally find the faux slatting visually unappealing. The photos need to be updated to reflect the actual product if this is what it's going to be so that you know exactly what you're getting.Overall very happy with the purchase, but honestly we'll probably end up refinishing the wood somehow down the line to be more like our expectation. We wanted to brighten up the room a bit and while this is still way better than the solid black box our old IKEA Fjell bedframe was before, at the end of the day its still several shades darker than we thought we were getting and in a room with not a lot of natural light anything dark is that much darker.

The bolts are packed with the washers on them and the parts are numbered in such a simple and easy to follow way - instead of numbering each part they’ve numbered the joins, so you match #1 with #1, #2 with #2 etc. It was an absolute breeze to put together, barely had to look at the instructions!The bed itself is very sturdy and doesn’t squeak. The shelf is super useful and the usb works well (although they’re usb A, so I had to get a usb A to usb C adapter for my phone and Apple Watch chargers). The best bed I’ve ever had.

First off, I never write reviews. But I just had to for this bed frame! I got this bed for my birthday and my expectations have been exceeded. I live by myself and put this frame together all by myself, in less than an hour and a half. It’s stylish, cute, and I think the USB thing is super helpful. It doesn’t make any squeaking noises which I think you usually find with these types of beds. My only complaint is that fedex delivered it on the bottom floor of my apartment complex, and I live on the top floor, and it was really heavy so I had to get help carrying it up the stairs, but obviously Zinus can’t do anything about that. I seriously could not be happier with this frame!!
