Zinus Ironline Metal & Wood Canopy Bed Frame - Queen

I love love love my bed! It's definitely a two person job getting it in the house and to put together. It's soo easy putting it together seeing as each piece is numbered and it comes with the tool to put it together! The wooden slats that make it possible for it to not need boxed springs have two sticky lines. One at head and one at foot of bed. It's very easy to move around your room for how much the bed weights. I've wanted a canopy bed ever since I was a little girl and now I have one. I couldn't possibly be more happier with my purchase. Thank you

A class act

I don't think I've ever reviewed a product before, but I was compelled to write about this one. I dread assembling furniture because of the experience of a certain Scandinavian big box retailer. This was an absolute joy to assemble. Quality workmanship, quality hardware, extra hardware (just in case), excellent quality tools, and very easy instructions with marked pieces that made it impossible to do something wrong. I enjoyed assembling it. That's something I never thought I would ever say about anything. A huge thank you to those who made it possible. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Absolutely best bed I've built

I received this product for free as part of the Walmart spark reviewer program. The only con I would say was that the box was severely damaged by the carrier in shipping. However, Zinus are geniuses and had it packaged box in a box so the parts were still completely protected.Pros: as most furniture items, it requires a 2 person build. Zinus wins this I've because they provide you two tools to actually build it (most manufacturers provide 1). One of the tools is ratcheting! This makes they process go a lot faster!The instructions were easy to understand and follow. Amazing bed

The Zinus Wesley Canopy bed is awesome. The wood and metal are solid and sturdy. The bed looks great. The wood adds a lot of aesthetic appeal with a very nice contrast for the metal. Adding a canopy scarf to the bed gives it a fairytale appearance. Our daughter absolutely loves the look and it adds a very nice look to her room. I really appreciate that the bed frame accommodates bed slats. We tremendously prefer slats over a box spring. We believe that they offer comparable support for the mattress without adding height to the bed.The bed was very easy to assemble. Even came with a nice allen wrench!

This is a fantastic bed! We got the twin size for my 8 year old after his loft bed became far too squeaky. He has been sleeping in this new one for almost a week now and he loves it! I love it because it is SO attractive! I love the black metal and wood combination. It is also very sturdy and does not squeak at all! My husband (who assembled it) is very impressed with it (which says A LOT!). He was so happy and impressed that the kit even included the tools needed to put it together, the allen wrench! And, it's a nice Allen Wrench too, NOT the small L-shaped one that some times comes in kits. Another great design feature is that the wood slats are connected by fabric so you don't need to worry about one of the slats falling through. Great Bed

The Zinus Suzanne Canopy Platform Bed is Awesome... The pictures actually Do Not do it justice, we Love it!!! The bed is packaged very well, each piece is wrapped, and it is in the box with nice foam, to fit snug. The box is pretty heavy, not for one person. Putting together the bed was very simple, since every part is marked by a number, and is put together in order. It came with the bolts very neatly packaged, with a couple extra and an Allan wrench. It also came with a little ratchet, that was actually good quality. It also came with a few little cards, you can send to a friend or family, (nice little touch). The slats for the mattress are linked together quite nice, and have Velcro on them as well as the railing, so they won’t shift around. On two of the wooden slats there is also a peel off strip for an anti-slip surface to hold the mattress in place. Once put all together, it looks so nice, the wood on the headboard and footboard are nice solid wood pieces, and stained a nice medium color. All of the metal on the bed is very nicely coated, and didn’t scratch or scuff while putting it together, and are a nice heavier metal (definitely not hollow aluminum). I was very surprised by this bed, we actually Love it, and WILL be buying more pieces from this company in the future....

Perfect for my son

Beautiful does not begin to describe this bed. I absolutely love the headboard and it matches the wood theme in my cabin perfectly. My son has been requesting a platform bed for some time now. He absolutely hates the way the box spring creaks every time you move in a traditional bed, but I hated to get rid of a perfectly good bed that matched his bedroom. Pretty and sturdy enough

This bed was super easy to put together. It seemed sturdy enough for a kid, which it what it was for. I am not entirely sure what the weight limit on it is, but it should be fine for a small to average adult also. I like the color scheme, and I love the canopy part of it. It's a very inexpensive canopy bed. That being said, I could not put it in the room I wanted to because the room was small, and the height of the bed would have blocked the ceiling fan, so be sure to measure before you start assembling. I would recommend this bed to others.

For example, even the packaging- the styrofoam used in packing was sealed in plastic, so the bits of styrofoam didn't get everywhere. Also, the tools were all included- but not just in little baggies, but in a nice package that was very easy- and it even comes with a nice 'welcome' letter and note cards. I thought that was a really classy touch! If you sent this to someone as a gift, I think that's a nice unique touch. We put the screws in little cups we labeled accordingly while we were building. Took about an hour. Other than the headboard, the other parts are very light and won't break your back. Oh also- one of the most awesome parts of this bed... the ratchet tool that came with it! It came attached to a little card that says it's to loosen and tighten and make life easier! And it did! It made the work easy, and it's a really nice little tool you can keep around the house for other things too. A little hex wrench was also included.Once the bed was together, I was surprised how sturdy it is, it has 3 support legs in the middle under the bed, and has rubber feet on everything. Also, the slats actually are really nice! Some beds we've used have either had none, or they were quite flimsy- but these are sturdy and strong. The frame itself feels nice, it's kind of a matte feel but it's smooth- not rough like some other metal matte finishes. And the wood has a high quality 'real' rustic look, and has a nice solid feel to it. Another reason this bed is great is that the headboard is straight and flat on the wall. (The bed we were replacing had a curved headboard,and left an awkward gap between the top of the headboard and the bed itself.) I really love this bed and I think you'll be impressed with the quality, and all the small but important details that make this particular bed better than others in similar styles.

I have been wanting to get a new bed for my teenage daughter for a long time as she has just been using a metal frame so I was very excited to receive this Zinus Wesley 72" Metal and Wood Canopy Platform Bed to set up for her. The bed was delivered in a large rectangle box and was easily over 100 pounds (very heavy). I found it easiest to take the pieces out of the box outside and bring them in one by one. This set comes with everything you'll need to set it up right out of the box (tools and hardware were included) and the instructions were fairly easy to follow. I did have to get some help from my fiance with holding some pieces in place so I could secure them (so if you have an extra set of hands you will probably need them). This bed doesn't need a box spring, we just placed my daughter's mattress right on the foundation. I also love the wooden headboard it gives the bed a more "natural" appearance. Overall, I really like this bed and my daughter does too. If you are looking for a sturdy yet stylish bed that's easy to put together, than this is for you!
