I got this as a gift from my partner and I am so glad I did. This makes the perfect rice every single time. The rice cooker saves you so much time and even allows you to
control when the rice will be done. There’s a keep warm function and it plays a tune once the rice has finished cooking. I’ve had this for a few months and it’s holding up well.
Plus cleanup is so much easier. However do not use a metal spoon to scoop up rice or you’ll scratch it, use the plastic spatula it comes with. Definitely recommend to those

This is probably the best kitchen appliance I’ve ever purchased. I had to get rid of my Instant Pot recently due to it not working, but I realized all I ever made with it was rice so I opted to get a rice cooker. I wasn’t even planning on it (typical Target). And what a legendary find! It makes perfect rice every single time, is so easy to use a child could do it (but I still advise reading the instruction manual to get the full breadth of this thing’s capabilities). I am pretty good at eyeballing measurements so I have a good grasp on that but this little baby does it all for you! If you are living alone or living nomadically, I advise you add this to your kitchen appliance arsenal. It takes up so little space and is easy to clean and transport!

We've had this for almost a year now. We've cooked white, sushi rice and brown rice in it. It works really well, but make sure you read the directions and follow the settings and directions exactly for each type of rice you cook. It makes a huge difference when you follow the different cooking directions. Results are excellent. Love the non-stick bowl- very easy to clean. The underside of the lid has a metal "plate" that you need to remove and clean after every use as well as wiping down the rubber seal that goes around it. The seal retains some water from cooling and you don't want to leave any water in there. The holder for the rice paddle is more convenient than I thought it would be. Great machine. No regrets.

I bought this rice cooker as a replacement for a inexpensize boil style cooker after looking at a lot of reviews on YouTube. The rice cooker is easy to use and the rice always comes out evenly cooked and fluffy. No hard lumps, no soggy areas - perfect. I've had the cooker for about two months now and it's easy to clean. The only thing that is worth noting is to be careful of trying to fluff the rice with the pot inside the rice cooker - as the pot can spin causing the bottom outside of the pot to get scuffed. This can be avoided by using an ovenmitt to hold the rice pot in place while fluffing the rice. Really love this cooker!

this is our second rice cooker. Our first was also a Zojirushi and it lasted about 32 years! So that's why we picked this one and are confident it will last just as long. It works very well, exactly as advertised; it is easy to use and to clean. I only wish the cord was retractable as it was on the older model.

OK, I've been cooking American long grain rice on the stove top for years while dabbling in Asian cooking over the years, with ho-hum results. Recently I bought a wok stove and started exploring different rices. I bought a cheep rice cooker, and it was much more consistent, but crisped the rice on the bottom. We eat rice daily and this item has made the best tasting rice short of old fashioned stove top cooking in a heavy pot. I know good tasting rice since I’m Japanese-American, and this cooker does a fantastic job. It seems to sense the right moment to continue cooking to achieve the right amount of fluffiness and texture. We cook 2 cups brown and 1 cup white rice mixture and it turns out delicious each and every time. You’ll need to be careful about cleaning the inner lid each time. The steam basket it came with is just brilliant. You can just plop your veggies in and trust the cooker to do its thing without having to babysit the stove top steamers.The timer is super convenient if you want rice ready when you get back after being out and about and there's a quick setting in case you forget to set said timer or need a quick unplanned meal. I love that the cord detaches because I can move the cooker back and forth from where it's stored without having to mess with the outlet. The top, pot, and paddle holder all come off really easy and clean up even easier. I've only had to use a soft dish rag with a bit of dish soap each time.I could go on for days about the great experience I've had with this model. With all the well thought out features and overall design it honestly pays for itself. If you're on the fence about treating yourself to a cooker of this quality, just go for it. This has been very well spent money for me and I don't have a single regret. The cute little song it plays when it starts and stops is just the cherry on top.
