The Henckel knives are a great addition to any kitchen. I received my first ones as a Christmas present from my Dad. Now fourty years later I'm still using them. They hold a great edge. Just take care of them and they will last a life time!
We had had one of this exact same model for probably 40+ years. My wife always used as her go to steak knife because it fit her hand well. The rivets have begun to deteriorate and the handle had a small crack in it. So we decided it was time to replace. We are very pleased with the two new ones we bought. The shipping was prompt and the knives arrived in excellent shape, are extremely sharp and should last us until we pass them on to a future generation. We are very happy with our two new knives and are saving up to purchase a couple of other knives for the kitchen.
I have bought several different knives, trying to find sharp knives that would stay sharp for awhile and by golly I think I just find them!!! I ordered 4- 4” paring knives as that is my go to on a daily basis and 1- 3 1/2”, and also their knife sharpener. It was an investment for us but I was going for quality and hopefully will not have to replace for many years if ever.
