My original spinner stopped working after 23+ years of pretty constant use when I found they are still made. I was overjoyed and am happily spinning away and storing my greens as before. The new model works so well, is more streamlined and looks snappy. Thank you Everten and Zyliss!

I’ve owned an earlier Zyliss salad spinner with cord, it lasted years and we loved it. My next spinner was the OXO with the push handle. I’ve read loads of reviews and the OXO consistently gets recommended. For me though it requires aggressive pushing and is loud when trying to get a good fast spin. The Zyliss in my opinion is superior as a single pull on the cord spins the colander very fast and it’s all very silent and smooth. Also I had an issue with the deep chunky centre post of the OXO pushing down onto the lettuce and it’s not great with heavier veggies like beans. The Zyliss allows the colander to be full and handles heavier veggies well.We eat salads daily so this is my feedback from years of using both types. Both are well built and will last many years.
I love my Ziller spinner. So easy to use, keeps my salads fresh and I know I will have it for years. It is so sturdy and durable.
It works okay. It can be a bit shaky at times, but it's not an issue. Just hold it down tight.
Quite underwhelmed with this spinner. The lid doesn't clip on making it a definite two handed operation and the spin is not overly efficient, however it does grip well to the bench. My old 'el cheapo' did a superior job at quarter the price
