Zyliss Swift Dry Large Salad Spinner

Excellent for lettuce leaves, berries and other vegies. Using the spinner on prewashed bagged lettuce leaves or spinach isn't as efficient as it's already got water on the leaves. I learnt the hard way. I washed them again and it just was too much. I don't think it's supposed to work on already prewashed vegies. It seems expensive but this site was much cheaper on sale than Myer and other stores. Been thinking about whether I would use a salad spinner enough to warrant the storage problem as they are pretty large then saw Jamie Oliver use one so that made my decision. If it's good enough for a chef to use salad spinners, it's good enough for me.

I’ve had a Zyliss string pull salad spinner previously in a smaller size. I was due to update as my family are now older and therefore needed a larger size. I decided on this model and am really pleased as it dries as efficiently. I love that it can be disassembled for cleaning and drying.

I thought I'd already written a review for this - but here goes again. It's a really good salad spinner. I have the large Zyliss string pull spinner which is fantastic, but in a smaller kitchen this one does the trick too. As a vegan I use it nearly every day :)

This is the worst salad dryer/spinner I’ve experienced - and the RRP is one of the mostexpensive. My comment encompasses the cheapest salad spinners. It looks good andwell-made, but it does NOT dry the salad. I was very glad to return it, and at presentam using an ancient Zyliss spinner with pull string which effectively dries all salads,but unfortunately has a leak. Extremely disappointing.

Best Salad Spinner I've Used

This is an awesome salad spinner, does exactly as intended, and much better made than any of the other brands I have used. Nice big size so you can put a lot in the bowl, and the spinning lever on top is well made and easy to use. Highly recommend this product.

Best salad spinner ever!

We’ve had many salad spinners over the years and this is the best hands down. So easy to use. You don’t have to tightly hold the basket while spinning like we’ve had to do with others. It will not budge when spinning and it’s so easy. LOVE IT!

Disappointed

The underside of the lid detaches from the upper part of the lid if it's not lifted carefully with two hands. The "Stop" function is not as effective as previous models. The green colour and rippled sides of the bowl camouflage the leaves, making it hard to retrieve them from the sides of the bowl. The rippled sides of the bowl make it difficult to clean and dry. On the plus side, it dries the leaves more quickly than the previous model, but this increase in efficiency is counter-balanced by all the extra time taken putting the lid back together after it's fallen apart and extra cleaning time.

Pleasantly Surprised

Lashed out and bought the Zyliss Swift Salad Spinner which was a bit pricier than others I have looked at, but was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to operate and is of such good quality. So, not expensive at all, just a great product. It's the first item I have purchased from Kitchen Warehouse, but if this is the quality of their products, I will definitely buy from them again. Hopefully I won't be disappointed, I will always pay happilly for good utensils.

RR of Salad spinners

This must be the Royals Royce of salad spinners. Spring-loaded handle for powering the sinning action. Not difficult to clean. Appears to be well made.
