I really can't sing the praises of this fan enough! I love sleeping with a fan going, and I've been searching for a few years now to replace the clunky, loud fan I previously owned. I've bought a few models from other manufacturers and returned them because they were equally clunky and loud. This fan, however, is amazing. It is so quiet that I can barely hear it, and so powerful that it keeps the air cool all night long. It's shorter than I realized, but soon proved that good things come in small packages. I will never go back to another fan. This is simply the best!

We have a small Vornado fan on our sailboat that we have had for years. So we checked them out. Diceded to go with this model for the many feature's and efficeancy of it. It was well worth the extra dollars.This fan is just Great! It might be small, but I can tell you it moves more air than any 20" box fan we have ever had. You can feel the air moving in every part of the room. This little wonder is really quiet. At the medium setting you berely hear it running at all. But it is moving the air really well. I already have 5 of these wonderful fans and this is my 6th one and I would not trade them for even a higher price fan. They are made in Andover, Kansas and so nice we still have items made in America! This latest fan, which is so cute (smaller than 3 of my other fans), but still does a great job of cooling my family room. And since for the last 3.5 years our electric bills are SO much higher when using our air-conditioners, these fans really are life-savers. I highly recommend this and ALL Vornado fans; you won't be sorry!

This is what I would consider a Dwarf Pedestal Fan. TBH Ive never seen anything like it. It looks odd being its a pedestal fan with such a small Diameter.Still, Based on the Reviews, I thought this Vornado fan would work out in my garage. Whereas it does push air, its still a very small diameter fan and its quite cheap with materials. It probably pushes a tad more air than the smaller desk Vornados which may speak high regard for the smaller Vornado fans.The variable speed that others mention has benefits, but not for garages. I wish i can find a use for this one but there just isnt any middle ground for a fan like this that doesnt even oscillate and takes up some room. I recently purchased a second fan after owning the first for over a year. The 3 things I like most. It’s powerful and the speed is easily adjusted by the turn of the dial. It’s easy to clean with the removable shroud. Finally, the low amount of energy it uses. That was the main reason I initially bought it since I use a fan to sleep at night.
I bought this a month ago for our bedroom. It cools the room down much faster than our previous box fan, and the room feels cool in all areas. There are no longer hot spots that the fan couldn't cover. I like that with the dial you can really customize the speed of the fan. It has a nice fan noise for those who like/need a white noise when sleeping. Overall, I am very pleased with this fan.

I put it together without reading the directions and that speaks volumes about the simplicity of that task. This fan is so lightweight. It is adjustable to 38 inches if I remember correctly, and packs a punch. There are 3 settings too choose from which although simplifies, does leave some room to be desired. Personally, a 2 1/2 would have been my personal go to. When this is cranked up to 3 it is LOUD. Not train loud but loud like a fan that is meant to dry paint. The only downside is the fan while relatively small has a wide petal base and it made my already cramped room feel more cramped. I ultimately decided to use it in the spare bedroom to hopefully create an overall airflow effect that will gradually make its way into my room. Overall, this fan is powerful and Vornado products have wonderful ratings so I imagine it will last quite awhile. This is a fan designed to help reduce your electric bill in the costly hot months, and to a Southerner such as myself, I could not be happier with that thought.

Overall, this fan has been a welcome and massive improvement to the air circulation of our home. Before being able to test this fan, I had no idea Vornado made full sized fans. A few coworkers have minis on their desks that I always thought were cool, but this is a few steps beyond those. Even if I hadn't received this to test, knowing what I know now I would certainly buy one for my home and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to others who need to move some air.

I had been using the two identical ones I had had for over 10 years. I bought two as gifts for people without AC in Wisconsin. One broke within the first week. I gave the one I kept for myself to this woman. It also broke within two more weeks. The electricity just failed to move it. I got them both back and tested them myself. They just didn't have any power supplied to them now. I did notice that the new fans had a different color logo in the middle. That made me wonder if the Company had changed hands or if I was getting black market copies of the original Vornado. I clipped the cords and sent them back, getting a full refund for those two fans. I had given the other one away as a gift also, but never heard back that there had been anything wrong or not working on it. Something is just not the same with these fans anymore.
They make very fine products. I bought the heater and it works pretty good in a controlled atmosphere such as the bathroom with the door shut kept it spot on. Even when you open the door and shut the door behind you, it kicked on for just a little bit with its smart feature. The fan is very good also. DC brushless, variable speed. Too easy to find the right comfort level and it will drop it 2° with the window open on a cold night and drop at 10 degrees!
